Does anyone have Amazon Prime? Do you think it's worth it? I do buy a fair amount of books for my kindle so I think we would probably make up the cost pretty quickly by me borrowing instead of buying. Just wondering what others think about it.

I signed up for the free trial of it, and I ordered lots of stuff during the free trial, but I dont want to pay $80 a year for it, so now that the trial is done I wont be renewing it.

can't live without it. worth way more than the price. plus they let you share the membership with a couple people, so you could split the cost if you can find some peeps to go in on it with you...

@Mrs. Bee: Do you have to use the same account? Do you have to ship to one address? Just curious how that works...

@Adira: nope you can send the invites via email to anyone you want. me, mr. bee and mr. bee's brother are all on a plan.

I'm too cheap! Hahha.
I mostly only buy on Amazon when I have over $25. Don't have a kindle. The Amazon Mom prices I can usually find cheaper elsewhere anyway.

@Mrs. Bee: Wow, that sounds awesome! Are you technically violating the terms and services though? Amazon.com says this about sharing Prime: "Prime members under a free trial or paid subscription can share their shipping benefits with up to 4 additional family members living in the same household"

We have Amazon Prime and love it. We love the extra free shows/movies since some of them are ones we can't watch on Netflix/Hulu. I mostly got it for the Free Shipping, but with the Kindle book borrowing, its more than paid for itself!

I don't have it but we really need to get it because I buy EVERYTHING on amazon! I was using the free trial before & it's super nice.

Definitely worth it! For the free 2-day shipping, you can't beat it. I ordered my husband a last-minute Christmas gift last year. Anywhere else I would have paid a fortune for it to be shipped in time for Christmas, but it was free with my Prime!

i recently joined amazon prime and amazon mom. love love love it. once my babies arrive, the diaper discount and 2-day shipping will make it even more valuable for my fam. i even set up my baby registry on amazon because i found that the prices were cheaper compared to the brick & mortar stores and with family/friends all over the country ... it was really convenient for all.

I absolutely love amazon prime, and I'm pretty sure I'll love it even more whenever we have kids.

We have it and we for sure have made our money back and then some on what we've saved on shipping costs.
