These days you can get free shipping from amazon on a lot of eligible items ($25 minimum) even without amazon prime except that the shipping time is 5-8days. I dont know if its worth it to pay $80 a year for amazon prime
ETA- When I had the free trial I did enjoy it but now I just wait till I have $25 worth of items and then I place my order ofcourse it takes longer to receive the items

I LOVE amazon prime. You can get almost anything on there nd enjoy the 2 day free shipping. So many people have mentioned buying diapers off of there and some people have said amazon mom is good too, which might come with the prime membership.

Absolutely! We love Amazon Prime and 2 day shipping is fantastic. We count on it in most cases. We got the crib on Amazon Prime in 2 days. When my son was screaming we ordered 2 swings and paid the extra $4 to have them the next day to see if they would help. I also find alot of our foods on there and ship them. We definitely make up for what we spend on the membership.

I LOVE amazon prime. I purchase most things from Amazon and expect that to continue when baby comes.
I also love the free kindle lending library as well as the free on demand videos.

love amazon prime! i'm sure i buy alot more stuff since i have it, but i love the 2 day shipping. you can also split it with people to bring the cost down. i think its up to 4 email addresses. i think its supposed to be for family members but we just split it with some friends. i don't remember the cost per person, but we've more than made up for the costs with the free shipping.

Now that my free 2-day Prime shipping for Amazon Mom has expired, I am considering paying for Prime. Amazon's smart...b/c I spent more when I had Prime shipping than I do now that I have to wait to find $25 worth of stuff to get free shipping. Also, the 2 day shipping is soooo nice! I miss it!
