I got some printer paper, butt paste, oxiclean and rid x so far.
I'm hoping to see if they have those yoga slingback sandals on sale today.
Oh, not sure if it's been said but you get an additional discount if you choose no rush shipping. I just got $1.60 off a bath mat I just ordered.

I had my eye on a few things but when I started price checking they are like the same prices as target or other retailers! so annoying.

Some stuff will show up as Amazon Prime day and then not in my cart! Anyone?
persimmon / 1064 posts
@Foodnerd81: I got 2 pairs of Robeez. I've also seen some SKR and Pediped for an extra 30% off. On the Amazon App, click the left side bar menu and select "Prime Day Deals". You can search for whatever you want from there

@mrsbubbletea: did you go all the way to check out? The 30% off won't show up until then.

@bees_knees: in my cart, they don't have the blue "amazon prime day" box

Ugh I feel like I just wasted a bunch of money on stuff I didnt need. OH well.

Just a heads up if you have an Amex card you get an additional $30 off a purchase of $60 or more. The code is AMEX17PRIME & this can be used on any prime day purchase.

@matador84: I also was watching a few kings but they've had lower prices other times this year!

I did some shopping but it's mostly boring things:
1. Ordered $60 worth of household stuff, got $20 off
2. Huggies diapers; got 2 boxes, so cheap
3. Did a subscribe & save with 7th generation wipes, babyganics hand sanitizers, lysol spray, dreft beads. All 30-40% off plus 15% off!!!
4. Got 20% off warehouse deal; got an exersaucer for under $30

@snowjewelz: I just tried to look at the Huggies deal, and I'm not seeing it. Did you get it yesterday?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@travellingbee: yeah, it was already going in and out last night, I had to try several times and check out right away!

@bluestriped bee: the Amex code isn't working for me. Does it have to be one $60 item?
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@mrs.kiwi: @bluestriped bee: looks like maybe you have to use Amex membership reward points or something? https://slickdeals.net/f/10322504-amazon-30-off-60-with-amex-membership-rewards-points-ymmv

Amazon annoys me. I was looking at the kids "prime day" shoe sale. They had a pair of pumas that I wanted to repurchase for LO. I've purchased them 2 times already.. I paid less for them 6 months ago on a regular 'ole day than they are listed for "on sale" during Prime Day.
Lame.

@Adira: Super hero caps is a great idea! I got A a princess dress for our disney cruise!

@matador84: Yeah, I feel like Amazon's "deals" have gotten progressively worse! Maybe I'm just not trying hard enough.

I'm trying not to get sucked into this. Still debating the Instant Pot and I got some diapers but that's about it.

I did pretty good with the prime pantry. There are a lot of $1 drinks in the section for Pick 5 and get free shipping. So just add 5 of those (or other things) to your box and avoid the $5,99 shipping fee.

I wasn't very impressed with the "deals" this year. I feel like I did better last year. The things we purchased weren't apart of the deals.
nectarine / 2521 posts
@FancyGem: Same here. I scored some pretty big items last year but not finding much this year. The only things I've purchased have been gift cards and a cordless vac (which wasn't even part of a deal).

Bought LOs helmet yesterday on a decent deal. Bought an echo dot portable battery speaker 25 percent off. Woke up (I bought it in middle of night-don't ask) and returned/cancelled that. Went to the shopping mall and bought shoes, a shirt and a bikini top for more than half off/the price of my returned prime item. lol. I'm having a good day.

DH bought 3 Echo dots, a few smart plugs, and a smart light switch.
I bought some Affresh Washing Machine Cleaner tablets.
Overall I wasn't too impressed with most of the deals. Last year I bought an Instant Pot and a portable grill.

I bought some new board books, room darkening shades for the play room, (very sunny), prime pantry order, value packs of pouches and fruit/grain bars, twin mattress protector (guest bed / LOs future bed) and a wooden train set, a marbLe maze construction set.... oops. So Christmas and birthday is set, right? Haha
