Honestly I'm not complaining... but Really?!!! almost 31 weeks pregnant, and losing weight. And I swear I've eaten so many donuts lately.
So now, I've only gained 8.5 lbs. I shouldn't worry should I? (Belly is still growing)

Oooh. Nice! As long as your belly and baby are growing (and OB says all is well) I wouldn't worry. I wish I could eat donuts and lose weight!

@chopsuey119: Ha! Honestly, the fact that I didnt have diabetes helped A LOT because all i crave is sugar.

@blushink: I craved sugar like crazy when I was pregnant too! I still crave and eat sugar like a crazy woman and my LO is almost 1!!!!!

As long as your doc isn't worried, I would try not to worry!
If you're looking to gain weight, try foods high in fat - cheese, nuts, avacado, ice cream, drink more milk, etc!

I am kinda jealous, honestly, so long as your doc isn't concerned. I didn't put on much weight at all until 20 weeks, and then it was embarrassing how much I gained each appointment after that!

Hey, as long as you're doing good and you and the baby are healthy, I would say it's fine! I'm in the same boat as @Mrs. Yoyo. The OB actually mentioned it to me yesterday at my 26 week appointment... ooops.

@Mrs. Yoyo: @mediagirl: Well once I hit the 200 lbs mark I was sure it was downhill from there. Seeing I gained a whole lot the last 10 weeks with Mavrick.
Then I got on the scale. and lost. hmmm.
I'm not necessarily obsessing with my weight... just find it ODD seeing I GAIN WEIGHT DRINKING WATER!!!!

@blushink: lol. It seems to me this baby is a good luck charm for you.

@mediagirl: At my last appt., I had gained 7 lbs in a 4.5 weeks. Oopsies. I was sooo hungry from weeks 22-26, I couldn't help it! But then I got the stomach bug and think I stayed even for a few weeks. We'll find out next week!
@blushink: I find that my weight gain is really sporadic - I'll stay the same for a few weeks, then it catches up with me and BAM I'll gain 3 lbs in a week. Maybe that's what will happen?? Either way, jealous you have only gained 8 lbs!

@blushink: Don't worry as long as your doc isn't worried. I just delivered a very healthy baby boy and I'm pretty sure I ended my pregnancy weighing less than I started it. I'm not 100% because I wasn't weighed after the beginning of my 3rd trimester (when I was still 6lbs down), but at most I broke even.
Enjoy the fact that you're not carrying any extra unnecessary weight!

@MegWag: oh that's amazing. I know my bump is growing so I should be okay. Weighing less then when I got pregnant (after birth) would be AWESOME!
