We love ours. Used it with our daughter 3 years ago and are now using with DS.

We have one and I love it. I got it because I was worried that if I got a video monitor I would do nothing but watch it all the time but I still wanted a way to check on LO and make sure he was safe. It gives me so much peace of mind. The alarm has never gone off for us but I did do tests with books and stuff to see if it really worked and as far as I can tell it does

I nannied for a family that used one, and I liked it. They had. video monitor as well. If we weren't planning on cobedding I would get one (and still will if the cobedding doesn't work out for some reason).

@simplyfelicity: that's what I want to get since I already have video. I'm fine watching her diuring the day but it's night time that bugs me! Paranoia gets to me and I end up not sleeping even when everyone else is! also once she starts rolling over I know she prefers to sleep on her tummy and I would worry then too!

We just retired our monitor and I love this product so much. I can't remember exactly how many months old my son was, but the alarm went off one night. It was not malfunctioning and my son wasn't in the corner of his crib so not a false alarm either. This monitor probably saved my son's life.

Yes we had that exact same one, since we already had a video monitor. I loved it. I never got an alarm (thankfully) and it gave me such peace of mind. I stopped using it around 8-9 months when I felt more comfortable.

We have the angelcare monitor and still use it and DD is 15 months old. It gave me piece of mind when she was younger. Now we'll get a beep once in a while when she wedges herself wayyy in a corner or something, I just go in and move her a little so the sensor can pick her up again. We have it set on the highest sensitivity setting.
We love it. although for LO#2 I do think I'll add a video monitor.

@BunnyDragon: that's awsome!
Ok I think I'm gonna order it! It's not too expensive that I have to really debate, and I trust HB reviews more than Amazon lol
