Hi all! Found out I have an anterior placenta recently (I'm almost 18w now.) During my research I basically noted that it would likely be longer until I felt definite kicks, and that baby may be sunny side up, and/or I may experience back labor, as "effects" from the anterior placenta.
DH told a coworker (female with 3 kids) that I have an anterior placenta and she told him that it also carried an increased risk of the cord getting wrapped around their neck? And birthmarks? I didn't see any of that in my initial research? Not sure if that just happened to her and she felt the need to associate them, or if DH misunderstood her? Anyone know what's up with this?
