When I was in the ER on Wednesday, I was told that I have a friable cervix. After I got home, I realized I've heard that before, by an OB in a different state where I used to live. He cauterized it with silver nitrate (ow), and no one has mentioned it since. But now I'm curious if it might help explain some of the issues I've had over the last two years (infection post-HSG, bleeding during pregnancy, continuous yellow discharge, trouble with my IUD).

I'm going to ask during my annual, but I would love to hear your experiences. Did you treat it? Did it cause you issues during pregnancy? Thanks!
