Sprinkles cupcakes are overrated, IMO. Nice presentation but the taste isn't for me.

NYC: bagels and pizza I think are probably the most well known. Also, Jewish deli food (pastrami on rye, corned beef, matzoh ball soup, etc!

Well, I'm told that were known for our pizza around here (at least in southern ontario anyhow). In my small town of 25000 people there are 10 different pizza joints.

You can't go to Seattle without having Dicks drive-in. So good but so, so bad.

lol there are some decent kbbq places here so i've been okay.
I'm really craving this hole in the wall sushi place in diamond bar--Sushi Koyo. BEST SUSHI EVER. fresh fish and the best blue crab handroll, butter fish, salmon..

I don't think Atlanta is known for any particular food. But man, there are some good restaurants. I cringe every time I hear someone visited and went to the Cheesecake Factory. Nothing against it, but SO many other good restaurants that are hands down better then any chain.

I'm originally from St. Louis, so BBQ!!! Mm-mm, nothing like good St. Louis BBQ, mostly ribs and pork steaks. I hate pork and even I love pork steak.

Also, gooey butter cake was invented here, as was toasted ravioli. We also do our pizza thin crust with Provel cheese. And one of the lesser-known things... the slinger. It's a diner dish that consists of eggs, hashbrowns, and a hamburger with chilli, cheese and onions on top. There's nothing better for a hangover than a slinger. lol

We're also known for our beer. Both Budweiser and a lot of local craft brews.
