Election day. Can't stop checking news, social media, poll predictions, etc. I'm barely getting any work done at work. Anyone else on edge today? How are you staying focused at work??

Yessssss....I'm basically just doing the bare minimum here. My co-worker whose office is closest to mine is a big Trump supporter so the tension is palpable!

Not at work yet but I'm already distracted. It's going to be a useless day. But DD and I are both wearing white and purple today as a nod to the suffragettes (their colors were white, purple, and gold). I can't do/wear anything partisan at work, but I think this is subtle enough. DD picked out her outfit all by herself and I'm so proud

Yes, me! I'm starting to understand why my grandparents were obsessive TV watchers - as in, they would turn on the news three times a day and HAD to watch it, as if anything had changed.
Doesn't help that last night I could not fall asleep, and then DD woke up in the mood to party. I mean, it was kind of nice to hear her laugh, I'm hoping at least the kids aren't picking up what a mess I am.

The work day is over here, but I've been glued to election coverage all day. I keep reading updates on Pantsuit Nation and getting all weepy, but at least I have hope.

I haven't been able to focus all day! The election is exciting, and then my husband and I are closing on a house tomorrow! So it's a busy week for us.
