DS has been transverse or breech this whole pregnancy. I went into the DR yesterday @ 33w5d and hes still transverse. I feel really uncomfortable, pain in my ribs, pain in my low belly and I feel like I'm hurting him every time I bend over or sit down. sleeping at night has been horrible!
Is it more uncomfortable with a transverse baby? If you LO was transverse/breech when did he/she flip?

@polkadots: DD was transverse breech until some time between 38 and 39 weeks(she flipped on her own sometime between my 38 week appointment and when I had her at 39 weeks). It was seriously the worst pain, so I feel you! And send big hugs 
I had excruciating sciatic pain, back pain, rib pain. My doctor said it was because of her position that I was so uncomfortable and in so much pain. I hope LO flips for you.

M was transverse and/or breech from 34 weeks on. I was already having a scheduled c section, so it wasn't a real big deal. But YES, it was uncomfortable!
When they opened me for my c section, my dr said, "He's head down!" he had flipped some time between Friday and Monday, lol.

Lo never flipped. I think he was more breech. Never really felt kicks, but i could always feel his head up by my ribs. A lot of time you could see it moving around. It was very different than what most people describe. I ended up hanging a csection

I'm a little different because I'm having twins, but Baby B has been transverse and way up under my ribs the entire time. He has definitely caused me a lot of heartburn and discomfort. Now that he's so big (36 weeks today!) it's crazy because I feel his head way over on one side and his feet kicking away at some sort of vital organ on the other side. Technically he could still flip, but his sister is taking up all the room below him (she's vertex) so we doubt it. Breech extractions are more common with twins though, so it doesn't matter to my dr if he doesn't flip once she's out of the uterus. I hope your little guy flips soon for you!

@GrapeCrush: @Dandelion: I don't remember it being this uncomfortable with DD, so it must be a position thing! I have a long 6 weeks ahead of me if he stays in this position!
@Mrs. Lion: I have a feeling he isn't going to flip. He's been transverse or breech the entire pregnancy, and I'm not going to let them manually flip him. stubborn LOs!

@twodoghouse: you must be really uncomfortable! one transverse baby is uncomfortable enough I can't imagine having another baby in there moving around as well! 36 weeks! your almost there!

lo has been stubborn since conception and nothing has changed 
we did actually find out after the delivery that his umbilical cord was too short and a vaginal delivery could have been very scary/dangerous. We are thankful that we just went ahead with the csection...Although he didn't give us much choice with the whole coming 5 weeks early part haha. Stubborn.

@Mrs. Lion: That's why I won't let them manually flip him. I feel like if hes breech or transverse its for a reason.. I just want him out and safe when its time, no matter how that happens! glad you had a good experience with a c-section!

@polkadots: Eh, having two in there really isn't as bad as I imagined it could be. But I'm ready to be done with it! it sounds like you'll be ok with the c-section if he never flips which is a great attitude to have. But hopefully he at least moves so he can give you some relief from the pain and discomfort!

@polkadots: K was transverse until about 33/34 weeks. Sorry - its uncomfortable, I know! She flipped sometime before my 36 week appointment, and was locked into head-down by 37 weeks. Hope your little one flips for you soon!

Aw man, I'm only 22 weeks, but she's stayed transverse this whole time. It made finding the sex very difficult. She also doesn't kick much in this position... I hope she flips, because it sounds painful!!
