I'll get back to you in a year or two with that
I would love to see pics/hear stories too! My two kids will be sharing a room pretty early on whenever I get pregnant with #3, and it seems so... difficult... to me.

@stargal: yes, i was about to start working on a blog post about it... we just transitioned them last week, and it has worked out amazingly well!

They're 26 month apart - DS is 14 months and DD is almost 3.5... our situation might be different than yours depending on the age of the kids.
DS usually sleeps around 7:30 pm... and once he's completely asleep, I usually sneak in with DD (around 8:30 pm) since she sleeps later than him anyway. I tell her we can't wake up DS and to use our quiet voices, so she's good about that.
There have been a couple nights where we ended up putting them down around the same time bc DS didn't fall asleep right away, and they'll keep each other up for a little bit, but then fall asleep on their own.
Overall, it's been really really good! We're very happy with the current situation. And we've been getting to sleep in later too!

This is great to read! I'm pregnant with LO2 now, and they'll be 23 months apart. We're planning to have LO2 with us at first, but then they'll share a room.

@stargal: haha, we just started last week!! so they were still 14 months and almost 3.5 years old. I don't have any advice about how to do it if you want your kids to start sharing a room right away though! I wanted to wait until I was done nursing DS before I put them together because I didn't know how night wakings and all that would work with room sharing. We have the space for them to have separate rooms, but wanted them to share a room anyway.

If we do we will! I think we'll be in the master with the baby and transition lo to her own room during pregnancy (is what we would do.) Or all sleep in the master! We do now and are making the spare a playroom...

Once we have LOs, they will share a room because we're only in a two bedroom condo!

Ours may, if/when we have #2, depending on my job. We have a 3 bedroom townhouse. Due to DH's schedule I need a private office to WFH. (LO is at home with a nanny and loud so I need to shut my door, I can't have it in our room bc DH works nights so he sleeps in til after I start working.)
I plan to put at least the crib in my office but some things will be shared.
