E HATES being swaddled, and has since he was less than a week old. He'll scream bloody murder and fight it hard if we try, and he won't calm down...he just gets louder and redder and struggles until he's broken out of it. We've tried it with blankets, SwaddleMe and a Miracle Blanket. We currently put him down in a sleep sack (with arms and closed on the bottom, like the one below),
Problem is it takes us SO LONG to get him down for the night, and I'm wondering if not being swaddled is why (or partly, anyway). Do you think I should keep trying to swaddle him? Anyone else been in a similar situation? How do you get your non-swaddled infant (E is 6 weeks old) to sleep in a reasonable time frame?
