I love maxi dresses. They are so comfy and come in so many pretty patterns but I am having trouble telling if I look pregnant in them. I don't know if its in my head. For the last two months of twin pregnancy all that would cover up my Jabba the Hut body was maxi dresses. Now whenever I put one on I feel like it looks like a maternity dress. Are they flattering or do they just a make people look pregnant?

They've always made me look pregnant. And now I'm pregnant and have tried them on and they make me look HUGE. I'm tall, so it seems like they should work, but... not really.

I love maxi dresses. I'm short but wear them all the time in the summer. So far, I've never been asked if I was pregnant. I think it depends of the cut of the dress and the proportions.

They don't look good on me for some reason. I think they are only flattering on pregnant women and when worn with wedges. I feel frumpy in them. But I am sure it is just me... they're sooo cute!!

I think they look good on tall, slim women (and pregnant women). I am short and...not slim, so they are not flattering on me!

They don't look good on me and DH thinks they're ugly! I prefer maxi skirts with a fitted tank

I love maxi dresses. But not Rachel Zoe Swimming In Fabric maxis. As long as the material doesn't overwhelm you and the fit is relatively close to your body, it should work!

I love maxi desses! I'm thin, but not tall and they still look good on me.

I've been wondering the same thing. I wore a maxi dress for the first time while pregnant and loved it but am hesitant to try them post-pregnancy for fear that people will think I am pregnant.

i love maxi dresses but between them not being nursing friendly...and i get mistaken for being pregnant again when i'm not...i've sworn them off for now.
