Seriously, every pair I've tried on/bought so far all sag down after wearing them for 5 minutes. I continually have to hike them back up!
Please tell me they're not all like this!!

I got two pair of skinny jeans from Motherhood Maternity recently that I really like - not a recognizable name brand. I definitely suggest a full panel if your belly is second trimester or later.

@marionberry: I'm just about 13 weeks, but I still find the full panel much more comfortable!!

Nearly everything maternity I own is cheap from old navy or target. BUT I bought a pair of expensive designer jeans at Pea in the Pod - they are AGs - and the cost per wear is totally worth it. They were nearly 200 after a coupon but I have worn them nearly daily for 5 months.

@Mrs. Confetti: The best money I spent on maternity clothes was on a pair of Seven maternity jeans. They were so comfortable, so flattering, and I wore them all the time for two pregnancies.
@MrsBrewer: I found jeans were one area to splurge. I bought jeans from Gap and Target, but they were so saggy after wearing them for 10 minutes. I decided to splurge on Seven jeans at a boutique maternity sale (thankfully I had a coupon). It was expensive, but so worth it!

I never found good maternity jeans, but I loved my maternity khakis from Gap.

@Mrs. Confetti: @Bluebonnet: Oh man, that just sounds like so much money for jeans!! Gah! I'm totally a thrift store/Old Navy/Walmart shopper for clothes! Maybe I will just have to go there and try on a pair to see and feel the difference though.

J Brands are awesome. I have AG too which are also really nice, but the J Brands are more flattering. Both hold their shape, no sagging. I feel like whether it's maternity or non maternity, jeans are an area where splurges are necessary. Mainly for shape flattery and never sagging or stretching out.

I know they're expensive but my J brands were the best pair of maternity jeans. So comfortable, never fell down. You can find them in ebay too! But I seriously wore them everyday

Alright so for the AG and J Brand jeans, are they all skinny jeans?? This girl definitely cannot pull off skinny jeans, I'm definitely more of a bootcut girl!

Jessica Simpson maternity jeans from Motherhood, I have 2 pairs. They stay up and look similar to my non-maternity jeans. I like them a lot.

I also could never bring myself to spend $200 on jeans, maternity or otherwise, so I make do with cheaper ones from Gap or Motherhood. And they're okay, but like, not great. Honestly, I just don't think jeans (or pants in general) are going to be comfy when pregnant. With boy my first and this pregnancy (currently 19 weeks) I try to go the legging/dress or tunic route as much as possible.

I hated my pair of Gap maternity jeans and ended up buying expensive Hudsons, since that's the non maternity kind that fits me best. I loved them and wore them almost every day. They do (did?) have a boot cut version.

I actually got jeggings & maternity jeans from Walmart of all places and I liked them! I usually love Target everything but did not like what they had (jeans were too stiff).

@MrsBrewer: If you like bootcut, try Joe's Jeans (I got them at Pea in the Pod). VERY flattering bootcut, held up well (no sagging, etc.), full panel. They are expensive, but I agree that spending more makes a difference.
I also had a pair of 7's which were nice, but were not full panel and so for me they were not as comfortable.

I had Gap ones but I don't recommend them - saggy. I did have some cheap skinny jeans to wear with boots that I got at motherhood that held up well. Maybe they have a bootcut version? I say splurge if you will be wearing them a lot. I didn't because I would only be wearing maybe once on the weekend.

@MrsBrewer: I had a pair of bootcut jeans from Motherhood Maternity with their Secret Fit Belly panel. They were amazing. The panel stayed stretchy but not loose. And they have good sales so you should be able to get them pretty inexpensively.

@MrsBrewer: you might find good options at local consignment stores.

Mine were all droopy until my belly got bigger, probably 18-20 weeks. You could try adding a belly band and see if that helps!

@abbylyn: Same here. Once my belly got big enough to hold up the panel better then my jeans stopped sagging.

I don't have any problem with my H&M jeans sagging, they stay in place really well. However, the full panel is weird and thick and didn't really fit properly for me until the end of the second trimester/beginning of the third trimester.

I didn't have any issue with my Gap maternity jeans sagging at all, I just wore my normal size prepregnancy and I was fine.
Maybe you need a pair with some lycra added?

I have these ones ( I think it's these ones )

I ordered them online without trying them on and I really like them. They stay up well and they don't sag down, they hold their shape over a couple wears. It's buy one get one 50% off right now. I think I got mine on sale for about $40.

Honestly, I haven't been able to find any. They all sag. I don't know if it's because I don't have much hips/butt, but it's really annoying. I have a pair of Gap (full panel) and Seraphina (low belly) and splurged on a pair from J Brand (low belly, bought for $100 on Gilt). While the J Brand do fit the best, I am still constantly hiking them up all day. At this point I've just resigned to wearing leggings/yoga pants most days.

I'm just not a maternity clothing lover. With all the baby gear we need to purchase, I can't spend much on clothing. I've borrowed 98% of what I wear. I discovered a website of used clothing called Thredup.com--might be worth seeing if there are some deals there as well.
It wasn't until I really started showing that the pants started staying up a little bit better. It's awkward territory until then. A bella band or something like that helps keep things in place. But my skin is sensitive, and most of the panels make me itchy and feel constricted. Rockstar from Old Navy have been my favorites, but they are skinny jeans.

I got a couple cheap pairs from motherhood maternity, and they are awful! I was walking around holding my pants up all the time and they had such a saggy but.
I tried on some pea in the pod jeans and pants, and instantly feel in love! They fit better than my non maternity jeans. I could only buy one pair because they are expensive, but have worn them 5 days in a row. They have not stretched out and still look great. Ill just have to keep an eye out for sales and coupons.

I really like my lilac jeans: http://lilacclothing.com/shop?category=Denim
I bought them at a maternity consignment store for $30, otherwise I wouldn't have spent the money, because even $80-90 seems like a lot to me, too! But maybe it's a somewhat middle of the road options if you're really frustrated and wear jeans all the time?

@MrsBrewer: I love my H&M boot cut maternity jeans! They never fall down. Gap ones are terrible!

Man, I love my gap long and lean maternity jeans. They fit me great!
