I like baking, but cakes aren't my thing. And for los first birthday I found myself so busy with everything else (diy decorations, brunch for 25 people, etc) that I just said screw it, ill buy the cake. I do see myself baking cakes in the future, but it won't be every year.

I love to bake and decorate! I also love parties, creating parties, really anything I can do for my kids birthday party. I will be making mine! Now if only they will decide what they want

I love to bake! I can't wait to bake special treats for our daughter! I have really sweet memories of my mom making special birthday cakes for me, my brother and my dad. We all had our favorites but sometimes we switched it up. Now I make special desserts for her on her birthday.

I do enjoy baking and I love making my kids their cakes. My grandma used to tell use that a homemade birthday cake is one of the most special things you can gift someone. Its not just a present its time and energy and love. I will never forget that. I have made all but one birthday cake so far. (my oldest had is third party a week before my daughter was born and I was so tired that I bought a cake.) Mine aren't always pretty but I try to make what they ask for and what their theme is

DH doesn't get why I'd want to but I just enjoy baking!

I love to bake! It was always a bonding thing my mom did with us. That said, my sister is a pastry chef and works in an amazing bakery so she always makes us all a cake on our birthdays so DS will also get a cake by her. She takes suggestions but its always a surprise. I'm excited to see what she does for his brunch bday party!
