I am not. My dad was scary-strict Korean and never showed affection so I was never his "little girl". I used to be so jealous of my friends who were super tight with their fathers. But it's all good...My dad is proud of me, I know it, he just doesn't know how to show it!

Yep, I've always been a daddy's girl, even now at 26 I'm still his little girl. When I was in labour with LO, he brought in his tablet and played the video of him and I dancing at my wedding to help distract me through a contraction. I get teary just thinking about it.

I have a good relationship with both my parents. My dad is pretty awesome, he would do fun things like show up to lunch in elementary school and pull me out to eat mc donalds with me. And we have things in common like our love for Broadway.
Lo is such a daddy's girl. Her face lights up when she sees him. Its so sweet!

Yep, I'm totally a Daddy's girl. I definitely cried while dancing at with him my wedding. He doesn't show much emotion when it comes to being sappy, but its his actions that count. For example, whenever I'm at my parents house, my Dad checks my oil and tire pressure before I leave to go home and he's constantly showing off pictures from the wedding.
Oh, and I've seen him cry twice. Once at my grandfather's funeral and the other was when DH (then boyfriend) and I broke up. It was a messy, dramatic break-up and I was totally heartbroken. I was talking to my Dad about how completely unfair everything was and I saw a tear in his eye.

My dad was stricter on me than he was with my brothers, but I always knew I was his favorite. He doesn't even try to deny it.

Totally, and I still am. My dad was equally strict with all of us but he's still the one I call when I have a problem that I need to work out.

Yup! I'm my dads favorite. (no joke!) He gives me the world.
I think it helps that Im in a creative field. He feels like we connect somehow (he's a draftsman, I'm a graphic designer)

Nope. Like @tequiero21, I'm a Mommy's girl. My Dad traveled every week for his work so he wasn't home a lot. Mom was the one who was around most of the time and I think that helped us bond more. My Dad is very proud of me and I love him to death but I've never been a Daddy's Little Girl.
That being said, oh yeah...I can see our LO being Daddy's Little Girl. No doubt about it.

I have always been more of a momma's girl, however I did do a lot with my dad growing up. He took me hunting, fishing, camping, all that stuff that he would have done with a boy if he had one. I'm close with my dad, but closer with my mom. I'm lucky to have strong relationships with both parents!

Kind of. I was a little bit of a tomboy, and we're both creative, so we did fun stuff together. I like my mom better now (my dad trusts Rush Limbaugh at his word, and my mom is basically a reasonable human being.)

My dad and I are very close and have a great relationship and always have. We pal around, and he’s super invested in LO already (she is due 4 days before his birthday and he cried when I told him I was giving him a grandchild for his birthday this year lol), but I wouldn’t say I’m a “daddy’s little girl” in the “daddy’s princess” way many people mean that phrase – neither of us feel that way about our relationship.

Yup. Always have been and always will be. My dad was def the exception as far as the stereotype goes for strict, unaffectionate Asian dads. He still won't leave me without a hug and kiss goodbye. Ironic, because most ppl's first impression of him is the strict, stern father type. Lol.

Yes, absolutely. My Dad has always been a total pushover when it comes to my wants and needs. Nothing has changed now that I'm an adult supporting myself. I have to be careful what I ask for and what I tell him because I've learned the hard way that he can't say no to me and if he gets the slightest idea that I need something he'll go out and get it without telling me.

Nope, I wish we were closer & I love him very much, but we never had that kind of relationship. He is SUPER old school & just didn't really talk about or show emotion in those ways.

Nope, not at all. My family isn't really like that - we're not super affectionate or anything. I love my dad and thinks he's awesome, but I'm definitely not his "little girl" haha.

Me and my sisters are close with my parents, but they definitely promoted independence more than a "mommies girl"/"daddies girl" mentality. It was more like take care of yourself, but know we are behind you if we need us.
