I always thought I would be a pushover, but I've actually been a lot more strict that I expected.
Are you a different type of parent than you expected you would be?

I am exactly the type I thought I'd be (strict, no ifs, ands, or buts). And my husband is exactly as I thought (pushover, good cop, spoiler, etc.)

I thought I'd be more of a worrier, more strict and follow the "rules". But I'm sooo lax. funny thing is DH is totally opposite what I thought too!

Yes a little bit. I always wondered why people didn't just hire a babysitter and go out. I get it now. There's no way in heck my baby is staying with anyone but my mom or sister. I also never knew why parent's didn't use the cry it out method more often, it's harder when it's your own! I just find myself doing more of the things I swore I wouldn't do.

I alwas thought I would want to stay home with the kids growing up, but now I feel the opposite! For now anyway...

I thought I would be more closed off perhaps, now I'm attachment parenting. Total 180.
