Oooo not by a long shot. I still don't have my girliness although DH thinks it'll come more into play now that I have a daughter... fat chance but we'll see.

Kind of? I was when I was really little, then I wasn't at all until I became about 18. Even then, it was more of a everything must be punk rock or metal and if it's punk rock and metal it's ok that it's girly. ? does this make sense? hahaha

Kind of. I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin until I was about 27, then I became a total girly girl.
pomelo / 5469 posts
Not particularly. I don't care much about hair, make-up and fashion so long as I look ok. It will be weird if LO turns out to be girly!!

I'm a huge tomboy so I'm not girly at all, even though I did pageants for many years in my younger days. I'm always worried about the future if we have a daughter. haha!

@.twist.: Lol like pink studded bracelets?
I'm not a girly-girl. I can't be bothered to paint my fingernails, my hair is usually thrown up in a quick bun or ponytail, I'm usually in jeans or yoga pants (the latter in the house) and a tank/cardigan. I own one pair of heels that I haven't worn in almost a year. I sometimes throw on some mascara and BB cream and a very neutral lip gloss when I'm going out but that's pretty much it. I'll do the whole shebang if we're going out on a date or somewhere that I know I'll have my picture taken but don't wear it at all when I'm at home.
But I like pink!

If you look at me without knowing me, youll think "girly girl" because of the way I dress (NO PINK though) and my hair is always done (its my thing.) But no Im not personality-wise lol

@FutureMrsMcK: haha when I was 17 YES! lol. Not so much now, I've become a lot more refined and have tried to tone down some of the really out there styles. Like, I love getting my hair done, and love when it looks perfect, but I like bold colours in it like purple and red. Or, if there are skulls on something I'm usually pretty happy, but if it's skulls and diamonds I feel punk rock but with a little girly thrown in! haha... Although, lately it's just kind of "blah" cuz they don't really do punk rock in maternity clothes. hahaha

Not really. Not a fan of dresses and skirts. I wear minimal makeup, don't do my hair..

Huge tom boy growing up. Didnt really start wearing girl clothes even until High School.
Still more so a tom boy.

Not really lol. I love shopping, I try to dress decently (although I usually fail because I have zero fashion sense), my toes are always painted, and I always have at least *some* makeup on at work. That being said, I love using tools and working on the house, I have zero hair styling ability, and my daughter's nursery is blue (with some sparkles!)

Not really. I think I am more now than I ever was (grew up with 2 brothers), but I'm big on sports, don't wear makeup unless it's a special occasion and while I try to look cute...I usually fail miserably!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Yes. I've always been pretty girly. As a pre-k teacher, I laugh because I'm allowed to add glitter to everything!!
blogger / pomegranate / 3201 posts
Yep, I always have been! Well, I guess not an extreme case - I just saw @lilteacherbee's comment about glitter and I'm not all about that stuff... I wasn't really into to makeup or obsessed with boys, but I have always loved wearing dresses and shopping is one of my favorite activities. I was never very good at sports and only played softball for a couple of years before I went back to dance lessons.

Nope. Ever since i was a kid, i had to prove to my parents i was as strong and tough as a boy, and my parents never treated me like a princess. I like to look good but i don't think that makes me girly.

I was a mix, I was a tomboy (hunted and fished with my dad all the time) but I did it while wearing a cute outfit I would definetely call myself more of a girlie girl now.

Overall, yes I'd say I am a girly girl.
However I am a big geek and I like all kinds of things men seem to think only they like, like Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Minecraft, Retro video games, ectectect

i looovvveee dresses and skirts, but my hair and makeup and nails are never done :(. messy :*(

I think I'm in the middle. I like my hair and makeup to look nice, but I don't feel bad when it isn't.
pear / 1769 posts
Nope, never have been. I enjoy getting dressed up for special events though.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
Nope and never really have been. If I'm getting "dolled up" it means I'm wearing makeup and a dress that isn't by a sporting company.
admin / watermelon / 14210 posts
i've always considered myself a tomboy because i love sports, camping, drinking haha. sure i like girly things like makeup and clothes, but overall i don't think i'm that girly. in fact my brother says i'm manly.
pomegranate / 3521 posts
I am girly in the way I dress and look.
I also play sports and enjoy doing outdoorsy type things.. so I am not sure how "girly" that makes me.
