HELLO REALITY!
I didn't have extra time off around the holidays, but last week was pretty slow so today it's like WOAH! Everyone's back in the office and ready to worrrrrk!
Plus it's LO's first day back at school/moved to the 3s class, this day is flying by for me today!

Same as usual since I didn't take off Christmas to New Year's like I normally do. There's definitely more people in the office so that chatter.noise level is more noticeable.

I SAH but worked in LO's school this morning and it was quiet despite being the first day back. There were only 2 kids in the class today because the others were still on vacation.
DH was expecting today to be insane but he says it's not nearly as busy as he anticipated.

Its surprisingly normal and quiet... But I do have a lot of junky emails to sort through and some work to get done. Its really cold and snowy here so I think we are all kind of coming to the sad realization it is really winter

I only took Christmas Even and NYE off (well, worked from home) but things have been pretty quiet around the office. It's been nice to catch up on some backlogged work. Today was bad and then rest of my week looks awful.

Yes, but it was busy during the holidays too. We got approval for a project just before Christmas. Construction documents are due on the 26th, so it's crazy town.

ITS SO CRAZY I CANT EVEN
Today was my first day with our sitter in almost a month. Man was a happy to see her this morning. Never going that long again. I have so much backed up work to do.

Still pretty slow. It'll pick up next week, I'm sure. The first week of a new quarter is always a little slower.
Last week was BRUTAL. Boss should have just given it to us. Sooooo slow.

It has slowed down, which I am so grateful for! December is by far the busiest month of the year for MTs and I was so sore by the end of the month.
