We are going to have both sets of parents over Saturday night for dessert and I was DS to make them cards. Not sure if we will do a small gift or not.
Do you do anything for your parents on grandparents day?

I didn't even know that it was a thing! lol! My IL's are watching E for the day/night tomorrow so maybe their gift is a sleepover with her! lol!

I think DS will make a card and maybe I will print a cute current picture for them each as a small gift. @prettylizy: time with grandkids totally counts to celebrate!

@oliviaoblivia: @BabyBoecksMom: This is how I was last year, I got lucky that I remembered this year. It is easier for us since our parents are all local so we can do something simple last minute without worrying about mailing anything!

Yup, last year I got them a card and made each of them a flipbook. I don't think they even knew there was such a day! LOL
Time kinda slipped away from me this year! They'll be coming over Sunday for the home opener so might have to DIY something. Sha-et, LO came home with a watercolor "painting" yesterday too and I chucked it. Should've saved it and could have used it to create a "grandparent" frame!

We're going to be with 4 out of 5 grandparents (M has one step-grandma) on Sunday. I'll have to think about cards!

It was DH's idea...I actually had no idea it was this week. He was sad we had already told our parents (I'm 9 weeks), but since things went well at my u/s today, we told siblings and are going to tell his grandparents. Not my grandmothers, though...they are very, very talkative, so they won't know for two more weeks, until we're ready for more people (ie everyone) to know!

Nope. Our dads get grandpa stuff too on Father's Day, same for our moms on Mother's Day. And I don't feel like it's necessary to do twice in one year.

My calendar says it's the 8th. Maybe I'll make a card for them with DS's hand prints or something.

Is it this weekend??!! Last year our daycare had a whole special lunch for grandparents, but I haven't seen anything this year. If it's this weekend, LO is going to have to be forced into craft activity tomorrow night! Yipes!!
