We are going to the children's mass at 4 pm on Christmas Eve. We haven't been in town the last few years but I think they do a pageant which I like. The time is also great for dinner after and some reasonable bedtime.

I have a 5 pm service. I'd prefer 4 or 4:30 for bedtime ease, but we'll make it work. Last year we went to the 4:30 at my parents' church, but we're trying to safeguard Christmas Eve as our little family time, since we spend all day Christmas Day with my family.

We just got back from one. The church we go to has multiple days of Christmas eve services which is nice since christmas eve we are always super busy with family.

4pm, otherwise I might have a little too much wine in me

We are going to a 7pm service at our Unitarian church this evening - which is mostly just an excuse to sing carols and eat cookies! Hoping LO isn't too tired to enjoy it...

Wow, I have never heard of 4 pm services! At all the churches near me, the services are usually at 6 pm or 7 pm, and some have an 11 pm/midnight service as well. We're going to the 7pm service at the church I grew up at that my dad still attends. My 11-month-old tends to have a later bedtime (8:30 or 9) so she should be up for it.
