I had an oil change scheduled today and forgot my appointment. Now I'm going on a road trip tomorrow and paranoid about screwing up my car because I'll be way over mileage. Whoops!

Nope, not really. My car does have a warning for oil life, thank goodness, because I never book appointments on the recommended schedule. Seems like overkill to me!

I usually go at least 1000 miles over on my oil changes.

I am terrible about maintenance! I go way over the recommended oil change miles, and haven't taken it in for a maintenance inspection in years, boo on me

Yeah, b/c I'm always afraid my car will die in middle of driving or cause an accident!

I used to be really good about it when I was single. Now DH takes care of my car!

DH does it all, and he's religious about it. If it were up to me, it would be bad news!

Nope. I always figured I'd have a husband who took care of all the car nonsense, but he's worse than me!!! I just had my first oil change in my car at the end of May....I got the car in August...

DH is great about it. My van will speak up, too, so I'm covered both ways.

No way, I probably go 2-3k mile past when I'm "supposed" to get my oil changes all the time. I'm currently about 1500 past due.

I'm EXCELLENT at telling my husband when lights come on. Beyond that, my responsibility ends. It's part of our marriage agreement ; )
