I think that when things are going best, both people feel like they're doing more than half of all the chores!!

Ha, no. I'm doing pretty much everything. I feel like it's my job as a SAHM, but I know that shouldn't be the case.

I am. I do 90% of the chores because my DH works so much. But when I ask him for help he happily does. He always tells me to be sure to ask if I am feeling overwhelmed.

@winniebee: I understand, I feel the same at times.
DH takes care of outside stuff and I primarily do everything inside. DH also does a ton of DIY around the house, so his chore list isn't necessarily very short.

I do basically all of the inside. I'm a control freak though so, as much as I'd rather not do it just because its not fun, I feel like I have to do it so that I'm satisfied.

Yes, I am very content with our current chore schedule! It's pretty much 45/55 but I am happy with that.

Yes. For how much he works, my DH does a ton around the house.

No, I probably never will be though and I've come to accept that.
