I've seen thick eye brows all over lately.
Here is an example I like but it seems like people I know are going A LOT thicker/less natural than this. Has anyone else noticed this?

I think it has to do with models like Cara Delevingne. I personally prefer a thicker eyebrow as I think it makes faces look younger in general. I personally look best with a thicker brow.

I love thick eyebrows (that are neatly trimmed, no unibrows)! Thicker eyebrows, imo, look much more youthful than thinly plucked ones.
Unfortunately my eyebrows are naturally really thin and sparse... i do what I can with eyebrow pencil.

I don't know if I would go as thick as pictured, but I prefer a more natural eyebrow look to the over plucked look. There are pictures from my early 20's where I basically massacred my poor eyebrows.

only because my eyebrows are naturally this way and it's too much upkeep to get them done every two weeks. I keep them groomed but it's less work to do that then get the full treatment at the salon keeping them thin.
(my Instagram selfie today, haha)

I don't mind "thick" eyebrows, but I hate really dark eyebrows. I wish half of the people who owned eyebrow pencils didn't lol!
@rachiecakes: um..you are beautiful! I wouldn't call yours thick, they're perfect for your face/eyes!

I don't pluck or anything, mine are light and i'm lazy. I think over plucked (or drawn on, even worse) eyebrows are not attractive though!

I've never plucked or groomed them , they're just what they are. so I like the trend
But I also have blond hair so my eyebrows tend to look a bit thinner than they would if I had dark hair.
LO looks like she's going to have DHs eyebrows so I might have to learn how to do upkeep at some point or she can just be another Frida.

I think @rachiecakes are perfect!
The ones on the model are far too thick for my taste.
If you have sparse eyebrows, my new favorite thing ever is Tarte Amazonian Clay. Looks so amazing and natural, 10x better than a pencil! and is waterproof. No smudges!

I think medium sized eyebrows are fine, but I don't like the really thick/dark eyebrow trend

@highwire: hers look a little harsh.
I wish my eyebrows were a little thicker. I've been growing them in a bit.

My friend is an Anastasia eyebrow artist and she said I need to put growth serum on my brows to make them thicker....I don't pluck or wax, but I have naturally thin and blonde "pencil brows." She says my brows are "so not in style!!"

@Rainbow Sprinkles: same boat, what is this magic growth serum!!! my eyebrows are thin and sparse!
i draw them into be thicker!

Mine are pitch black and pretty full naturally, so of course I'm into it. lol

i think generally it's better to leave too much than take away too much- over plucked eyebrows ruin a face. i'm not a fan of high contrast against hair like the ones @highwire: posted, too much! i have thick eyebrows though, so maybe that's why i'm partial to them

@highwire: ick!! I don't like dark eye brows with light hair!!! It's a big pet peeve of mine.

@MrsTiz: @blackbird: @HLK208: thanks! they get out of control easy though, I pretty much groom them daily. I could easily have that "caterpillars on the face" look, haha (and though they blend well in the photo, they are naturally darker than my hair color)

I think model-thick brows can be difficult (and sometimes unnatural) to emulate, but otherwise I like it much better than spermbrows!

This is closer to what people have been doing than the picture I posted earlier:

@rachiecakes: haha I agree, I like the trend because my brows are naturally thick! (Selfie Attached)

Dang, some of those pictures are really thick ones. I like @rachiecakes: they're natural and pretty
I've gone thick myself, more let them just go natural. I still pluck, but not as much as I used to. I think fuller brows look more youthful and I'm getting old, so I need all the help I can't get

I love Cara D! So gorgeous. I can't pull off a thick brow (I have straight across brows, so I have to force a little arch) but I do love the look.

@SweetMamaM: @rachiecakes: you both are so pretty and have lovely brows! I like the natural look that you guys have, but not the thick overly drawn in caterpillar brows! I also think thin brows make people look older and am not a fan of that either.

@Crumbs: @Mrs. High Heels: you guys are so sweet! I inherited a monobrow from my dad so it's taken a lot of work to get them to this point!

Eyebrows are weird now that I'm staring at a bunch of them lol.
pomelo / 5257 posts
I have naturally thick, dark eyebrows so I guess I'm into it by default haha. I'm very protective of my eyebrows and don't let anyone touch them but me because I like them they're not as intense as Cara's though, prob closer to this:

@SweetMamaM: lol I hear you on the monobrow, I can get pretty Bert-ish if I don't tend to the middle. No one wants this

@MrsSCB: Camilla Belle is gorg! Love her brows. I'm Brow-sessed haha.

I have full eyebrows and wax/pluck them but keep them full. I also start resembling Burt if I don't upkeep!

I love a thick brow, and have kept mine like that even before it was back in. Although I think sometimes in fashion spreads it can be taken too far. Especially when they have blondes with super dark, thick brows. I like it to look natural.

Mine are always thicker, I look awful with thin eyebrows! But there is a point where it goes from thick to caterpillar thick and no one can pull that off.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@highwire: those pics scare me!!
I have dark eyebrows which makes them look more intense. I used to be super insecure about them but now I'm like whatev... I can't be troubled to worry over them
