At this point in your life?
When I was 5 I went on my first and only family trip to Colorado. Then in my teens I had the opportunity to travel to Germany, Mexico (3 times) and various other states. Since being an adult I've only been to Chicago and Indiana to my brothers lake house. I'm really hoping to travel to many many more places in my life, at this point I just haven't traveled enough. Traveling is expensive though, so that paired with 2 little kids has made it a challenge.

More or less. I mean, I'd always wish I'm traveling somewhere new, but I started traveling young and thanks to my parents have been to many many places. I know that one day when I'm done having kids and they are older we will be able to travel again.

Yes.. I have travelled a lot, even lived in London for a bit but I find it so hard to sit still. Always looking forward to planning the next trip.

I have been very fortunate to travel across Europe many times, starting when I was 11. I've also gotten to travel in Asia once, and we are planning to take our girls back with us. I've been to the Bahamas, of course to Canada because we live so close. I've done some travel in the U.S. but would like to see more of it. There are so many places I still want to see, and so many I want to revisit: As far as I'm concerned, there is never enough travel!

I'm happy with where I've been, but there's a lot of world left to explore! We've taken a break since having our LO, but the traveling bug is biting me hard right now .

Yep, I love traveling and have done a lot of it. My LO is only a few weeks old but I already have trips lined up to South Carolina, Chicago, and Norway in the next six months. I may live to regret it, but I'm still going to try to travel as much as I can with kids!

Sort of. I was lucky enough to have travel alot with my parents (mostly to cities in the U.S.). In my 20s, I didn't really travel at all and I regret it. I was in college and grad school for most of it so I didn't have the money, but realistically, that would have been the best time in my life to have traveled. Pre-LO, DH and I managed to get a couple big trips in but we've been sticking to places that aren't too far away with her so far. Hopefully we'll travel more later in life.

I've traveled a lot, especially in my twenties. Travel is on hold for us until our kids are bigger, but then I'll be excited to explore some more!

We are passionate about traveling & fully expect to travel with LO as much as we can. She's been on 2 trips with us so far & we plan on 2 more before the end of summer. Hopefully we can also do an international trip with her within a couple of years, tops.

I've traveled quite a bit - from age 7-10 I lived in Holland, so we traveled through a lot of Europe then. Since my husband and I started dating we've been to England, northern France, Portugal, St Lucia, the Dominican, Paris, Morocco, Vegas, DC, Chicago, and Vermont. There are still places I'd like to go but I feel happy with what we've done. Since we had our son we've been to England twice and Vegas twice. I think it will be harder now that we have 2 but we'll definitely make the effort.

Yes, I've been to 25 states ( in the past 8 years) and 12 countries ( all in the last 4 years) We made travel a priority our first 3 years of marriage so we could get it out of our system before TTC.
Baby is due in May and we already have 3 trips to Puerto Rico planned before his first birthday and a week long vacation to New England in Oct. Planning on taking at least one international trip with him before he pays airfare

Travel is important to me so I'll never be totally satisfied. now that I have kids I can't logistically or financially travel as much as I want but I'm looking forward to future trips when my kids are older!

Yes, I am satisfied. We had a checklist of big international trips we wanted to take before TTC and they were all so wonderful and memorable I really feel happy about it. We still plan to keep traveling with LO; we've already done Hawaii with her and are about to do Mexico soon. Though of course they are different types of vacations.

I have traveled a lot and so has my husband (much more than I have). It's something we both enjoy and prioritize. We have taken our LOs many places and plan on going to many more. My DD will have been to 4 continents before she's 2.5.

Nope. The only other countries I've been to are Mexico, Canada, and Dominican Republic. 
I've been to quite a few states, inlcuding Hawaii, but there's still so much to be seen and experienced. Hopefully there is lots of travelling in my future.

Never! We love to explore new places and try to take a few trips a year. One of our budget priorities is to be able to travel as much as we can get away with. We have no problem taking the kiddos out of school to take a trip somewhere. I've definitely noticed a language burst each time we take our oldest on a trip.

Kind of sort of because planning a trip is so stressful for me. I'm happy with the places I have visited, but there's still a good list of places I'd like to go.

I used to love to travel. I've had to travel so much for work though, including lots of international travel, that it kind of sucked the fun out of it for me. I'll probably get the bug again at some point - and there are places I've never been and would like to go - but now I just want to be home more.

I haven't traveled a lot, but it doesn't bother me (travel is not a priority for me... I honestly don't love it). My husband likes to travel and hopes that we will do a lot more of it in the future, so I guess we will have to find some sort of balance.

Satisfied? Yes. But I would like to do a lot more. I know it will have to wait a few years till LO is easier to travel with or we can easily go without him.

I'm pretty satisfied, but there are certainly more places I'd like to see and revisit. And I have a few more must sees that we haven't gotten to yet cause it doesn't seem like a good time to go. I did an international trip every 2-3 years after college, then 2 a year for the last 5 years.

I have been to about 20 countries on five continents, and a little over half the U.S. states (admittedly mostly the coastal ones).
I deliberately grounded myself and have only taken driving family vacations since my son was born. (He just turned two.) My husband and I travelled a lot before I got pregnant, and honestly the thought of spending a lot of money to travel with a lot of baby gear and a limited baby/toddler schedule was very unappealing. Plus we are paying for childcare which is eating into our travel budget.
I'm sure we will resume international travel when he is a bit older, but to me personally it hasn't been worth it yet.
I was almost 37 when my son was born, so I had a pretty long run in my 20s and early 30s when it was easy to hop on a plane and have some fun.

I travelled a ton in my twenties, lots of backpacking... Europe, Scandinavia, America, a round the world trip and then we lived in Canada for six years. I rarely get itchy feet now, but then I have also developed a fear of flying so that plays into it. I'm glad I travelled so much though, it was amazing.

I've traveled a lot and hope to continue doing so! It's a big part of my mental sanity and a big reason why I work!
Before kids we traveled internationally more frequently, now we've been traveling domestically and mostly in the Eastern time zone... but it's just nice to get away from home. Especially during our dreaded winters.
DH always says that if we lived somewhere else where the weather was "nicer" and/or more temperate we probably wouldn't travel as much, but we both need it for dealing with six months of MI winters!

Sort of. I love to travel and we made sure to take a bunch of international trips before kids. Now, it is both expensive and a pain in the ass to travel too far with 2 small kids so we are sticking to domestic trips for another few years. I am really looking forward to taking them abroad when they are old enough to enjoy it.

I've traveled a fair amount, but I'm never satisfied. I would quit my job and travel for 2 years straight, if I could.
eta: my husband is a lot more skittish about traveling with kids than I am. I'm of the "kids will adjust and make do" mentality. I'm dying to go to his home country, but he's worried about taking the girls.

Nope. I wish we could travel more with the kids but we simply can't afford to right now. It's not even a matter of logistics.
@lamariniere: travel in Europe/ UK is so much cheaper!

Yes and no. I've traveled a lot, adn i feel very lucky to have done so but it's something that I have always prioritized. Like MrsKoala, I don't think there will ever be a time that I don't want to go somewhere. We've continued to travel with LO albeit in different ways, but we're still moving. She's not always the most easy going kid, but somehow she's a great traveler. Should we have another child, I know things will change, but I hope to continue travel as a family and perhaps fit something in with DH or myself (although the former would be hard).
