We've been on a few cruises, so I've had a few hours in lots of exotic places. But my favourites were our honeymoon in Jamaica, and the two months I spent in Germany as a teen.

@chopsuey119: I'm Greek and I was a classics major in college so Athens was like Mecca to me. I loved it. I can't wait to plan a trip to go back and visit the islands.

I've only been to Korea, the US, and Guyana. Oh, yeah, Guyana is the most foreign place for me. (Korea isn't foreign to me)

I went to Nepal on my own after a break up about 4 years ago - that was amazing to do by myself. My parents to me to South Africa for my 30th birthday.

I have been all over Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Central America, but probably the most exotic would be Alaska. I used to live there.

I've been to the Philippines a handful of times, but I don't know if I should count that since my family is from there. We went to Fiji for our honeymoon, so I'd say that was the most exotic/foreign place I've been. Other than that, everywhere I've been is fairly local--Mexico, Hawaii, Bahamas, Virgin Islands.

@chopsuey119: we did the australia -us flight last year when LO was 6 months old. Perfect age for it! We have resigned ourselves to no long, haul flights til LO is at least 5-6!
Most exotic/foreign places I have been - prob Bali or Yap.

uhh... I went on one of those bus tours of Europe and visited 7 countries in 10 days. I guess the most "exotic" would be.... Austria?

Venezuela, St. Lucia, Bahamas! Venezuela was quite an experience! St. Lucia was my absolute favorite though... that's where my honeymoon was!

DH and I tried to jam in as much travel as we could before TTC...but my personal favorites were South Africa, New Zealand and Fiji. HIGHLY recommend them for anyone able to take 2 weeks for vacation.

We spent 2 weeks in Thailand a few years ago. That's the furthest I've ever traveled!

exotic? hmmm probably the remote island in the philippines that mr. bee's parents live on! takes 3 planes and 2 days of travel to get there.

Most foreign? Either Lebanon or India. Both places were so different from home! I thought I would die in a car accident within leaving the airport in Lebanon and I was homesick within three days in India.
@ALITTLEP: I love Nepal! It's one of my favourite places I've traveled to and I can't wait to be back.

Villages in West Papua. No electricity, no running water, no roads, and the only communication with the outside world was via a two way radio!

Most exotic would probably be Nepal. My most favorite trip is a tie between a private island on the barrier reefs or backpacking in patagonia.

My favorite place was New Zealand- loved it! It was beautiful. I went during their winter, so I'd love to go again during their summer. I was supposed to go to Australia right after but it didn't work out, so I want to visit their too.
I've also been to Peru twice. Don't know that it was exotic lol. I did volunteer work down there- we helped build houses and helped a local church with various ministry stuff. it was an eye opening experience.

I think Cuba was the most exotic for me. It's not that far, but it's like going back in time (mostly because of the 60s cars).

Stonehenge. That was pretty darn cool. My parents took us to England when we were 13 and 15 and then my Mom took me to France when I was 16. I will never forget those trips.

We went to Norway on our honeymoon, though I certainly wouldn't call that exotic.

I've been to Mexico & many different Caribbean, but the most exotic places are probably Japan, Thailand & Cambodia. Next month is China!
