@illumina: do the backs of my eyelids count? No picture, but I'n sure you can imagine it

I don't have photos from the castles we visited in England so, my photos of St Lucia will have to do.

So many pretty places! I just pulled these photos from fb since I'm at work...

1 & 2...Monument Valley, and southern Utah in general. So pretty!
3 - Lake Titicaca, Bolivia
4 - Amazonia, Ecuador....where the roads end and all travel is done on canoe
5 - Lago Quilotoa, Ecuador....a high altitude (13,000ft/4000m) crater lake
7 - Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

Other places I LOVE but don't have photos of, both in CA...Mendocino coast and Point Reyes National Seashore.

@JoJoGirl: LOL! I'm so jealous right now. DH and I were going to go back in May for our anniversary but then decided to scale back plans because I hadn't found a job yet. I loved the west coast area, it was so beautiful. </threadjack>

@illumina: Aww, that's too bad. We were able to walk from our hotel. It was really crowded and crazy, but the food was awesome.

@JoJoGirl: Did it throw you guys off to drive on the other side of the road? Every time I tried I was hitting the windshield wiper instead of the turn signal.

@MrsCB: @jojogirl: We stopped at both of these countries on a cruise we went on. My husband and I took the tour through St Lucia and I went by myself on a catamaran/snorkeling trip in Barbados. OMG Barbados is so beautiful!!! My pictures there did not capture the beauty and the clear waters? Gah!

This is a nice thread to look at to get my through this day!!

@mediagirl: The catamaran and snorkeling was my absolute favorite part of the trip.

They're both from Mexico...
1) The eastern side of Cozumel - there's basically nothing out there, and no electricity
2) The beach at the Mayan ruins in Tulum

I also loved Rialto Beach in Washington state but I don't have any pictures on this computer.

@illumina: we cruised with Princess. It was the best cruise we could have asked for. Your photos of Iceland are amazing.

For me I'd have to say :
1. The Philippines. This pic was taken during a canyoning trip.
2. Where I grew up, and consider "home": Gtmo Bay Cuba!

@Shutterbug: Yeah, my dad is former Navy and both my folks now work for the Navy. We were just there over the Holidays! I miss it (I hate the cold so me and Switzerland do not get along right now.)

Hmm, the most gorgeous sight I have ever seen was on the side of the road (b/c I stopped to take it all in) of the mountains when traveling on business in Denver, CO. Sorry no picture, but the beauty and crisp, clean air linger in my memory.

@illumina: Well I should clarify that I grew up on the US Navy Base, but someday I hope to see "real" Cuba. It was great to grow up there. Very "small town" feeling, and of course, year-round Summer! I liken it to living in "Magaritaville"

As for the Philippines, we split our trip up. First we went to a small town about 3 hours drive from Cebu. We stayed at a very small "resort" called The Blue Orchid. Then we flew to Davao and hopped a ferry to Pearl Farm Beach Resort for the last week. They were both great! I highly recommend trying to go!

Costa Rica and st kitts is the last one.

Why are you guys torturing me?! I need another trip!!!
