Brazil, Germany, and Spain. We've been to Hawaii too and though it isn't exotic, it took us almost as long to fly there as it did to any of the other places so that must count for something

Korea, Mexico, Caribbean... haven't been to many 'exotic' places.

@ohapostrophe: I totally tried to convince DH to elope in French Polynesia. He declined.
Re: exotic places... I dunno. I've spent time in northern Namibia (just south of the Angolan border), in Djibouti, Burma/Myanmar, and random villages all over Laos.
Some of my favorite trips have been to Malaysia. I tell DH I want to retire there.

My parents used to spoil me and take my lil brother and I out of the country every summer. We've been to Australia couple times, China a few times, various places in Europe and Canada. I miss traveling due to this thing called work/career. Ha! I'm hoping to be able to do this for our kids too.

Hmm, probably the Turkish coast for exotic and the Baltic (Latvia and Estonia) for most foreign. I miss traveling!

Istanbul and the Turkish coast (plus the seven churches of Revelation), Rome, Kosovo, a few Greek Islands, Albania...

The furthest is probably China, but I've been to several European countries (Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, France, UK), and Mexico and Canada

Cook Islands and a tie with the Northern Marianas: New Zealand, China and Venice, Italy are pretty foreign/exotic as well, I guess.

I think Estonia or St. Petersburg, Russia. They are not that exotic, but they are sort of off the usual "trip to Europe" list of places.

@ksnow: We didn't dive in the Seychelles! We had just spent 5 days on safari in Africa, so we went to the Seychelles looking for some relaxing beach time! Honestly, we were underwhelmed by the Seychelles. It's most definitely beautiful but it is FAR, and there are places in the Caribbean that are just as nice. The most disappointing part of the trip was the horrendous food pretty much everywhere we went Surprising for a vacation destination favored by Europeans!

Kawayu Onsen! It's a tiny little town in Hokkaido. It took more than a few hours to get there by train from Sapporo, then we had to take a very rarely departing bus to Teshikaga. We stayed at a minshuku that was adjacent to Lake Kussharo. The food was amazing and DH still dreams about the tempura crab we had at "the" local restaurant.
