Neither! We don't have AC, and we've been having the windows open during the day and closed at night. It was a perfect 68 degrees in our apartment when I woke upthis morning (upstate NY for reference)

We still have the AC installed, but we haven't been using it. We still haven't turned on the heat yet either.

AC during the day, but it doesn't run at night now that it's getting cooler. We've been using our fans.

We just switched to heat! It gets in the 40s at night and is COLD in the morning if we don't have the heat going.

AC still on, unfortunately! Supposed to be 93 today. Although, the other morning was nice and cool in the 60s so I got to open the windows for the first time in 5+months! Lol. It's so ridiculous how hot it is here.

Still. So. Hot. AC all the way. I don't anticipate being able to turn it off for another month? We're just now getting the rain that comes before our very first 'cold front' of the season coming our way. I am so excited I can hardly stand it - though cold is a relative term, and it will probably still be too warm to comfortably leave the AC off full time.

We've finally hit that awesome time of year where it's perfect window-weather. Both A/C and heat are off right now, and I'm hoping to keep it that way for awhile!

we've had to turn the heat on twice at night because DS does not like to be cold...but he also hates a ton of clothes...he's difficult lol

We just flipped on the heat last night! It's in the 40s here at night, and our bedroom gets so cold. I'm always afraid LO will be too cold.

@Rubies: Pfft! Where do you live?
I kid!Nothing here, and no heat even if we wanted, all this "new house" stuff we learned that our thermostat hasn't been hooked up correctly and can't communicate to the furnace even if we wanted it. There were a few mornings (two mornings ago esp) I would have loved to taken the chill out of the air a bit. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.....

@lindseykaye: lol I'm in Texas and our 'monsoon season' just started, which means it should be cooling down soon! Funny how in the south, you know fall is coming because of the rain, not the leaves changing or cooler temps!

AC for the foreseeable future, sigh.
I hate living in the tropics, I want to sit in front of the fireplace and wear long pants and jumpers. 90s and high humidity every day BLOWS.
