Are your co workers trendy? At my last job they were all very trendy! At this one not so much.

@regberadaisy: LOL - no. I would say that I am one of the most *current*, not trendy . . . but my work environment is pretty conservative.

nope.
sometimes I feel waaay overdressed but then when I feel like crap / ponytail days, I don't feel too too bad, haha

At my last job they were. They'd always have on such cute shoes, all high high heels and I would be in my grandma shoes. I'm more of a comfort person, not trendy.

Well, I work in construction, so... no... haha. There are a few girls that make me feel super un-trendy, but not too bad

Nope! lol! There is one awesome lady that I work with who has stuff so old it's trendy again though. She has been rocking the same knit peplum top for the last 30 years!

Nope. These guys wouldn't know a trend if it smacked them in the face.

Those in my age demographic are. 60% of our staff is over 45 (most are over 60, actually), so they aren't trendy. That said, my office is more conservative, and I'm definitely one of the people that dresses mainly for comfort.

Yes, some of them are, with the colored pants and sky high heels. Others not so much.

Hahaha no. Not even close to trendy. I am probably one of the best-dressed people in my department, and I wear jeans and cute, but not trendy, tops, if that says anything! There's a distinct lack of fashion here lol!

Hahaha no.
I stick out like a sore thumb! Love them to death but they dress terribly.

@MsLipGloss: Same. But the women here dress very frumpily for the most part....

Not at all. I work with mostly men and the normal dress code here is jeans and a shirt for them. Some times cargo shorts, a few sweat pants....

My last job they all were! There was no dress code so everyone wore expensive jeans and trendy boots, etc. I always felt like such a frump. I actually prefer the business casual at my new office! I feel like it's much more laidback.
honeydew / 7586 posts
Yep! For the most part, at least. I work in a school with a lot of young teachers.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
My previous team - omg! Yes!! Then again, I worked with 7 gay guys so.... haha!
bananas / 9899 posts
LOL no not at ALL! I work with all male developers. Not exactly known for their fashion sense lmao.
nectarine / 2765 posts
Not at all! They're mostly older so while they're not necessarily frumpy (save one gal who's downright gawd awful *shudder* She has one pair of pants in particular I wanna BURN), they're certainly not trendy. Which is nice since the expectations are low, but, sometimes I think I stick out like a sore thumb.
