Not me, but my husband works at a nuclear power plant. He’s going in every day, usually 6 days a week right now.

@Mrs. Champagne: That great that he's able to come home! At the nuclear plant where my husband works the essential staff that needs to be at the plant can't leave the premises! The brought in RVs for them all to stay in. My husbands an engineer and not part of day to day operations so he's not one of the people on site.

Nurse practitioner in outpatient GI medical oncology, going in my standard 2 days per week to see patients.
Only tricky thing is that I put in my resignation in Feb for August departure knowing it takes months and months to hire, credential and train someone. I didn’t want to abandon my patients or coworkers. There was supposed to be funding for a part time NP in the spring at the (affiliated) cancer center closer to my house (they were going to create the job for me) but now I’m worried that with the census so low recently, that won’t happen. So maybe I’ll be a SAHM for a while 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Like normally my attending would see 8 new patients per week but now seeing 0-1 per week. And sadly with how sick GI cancer patients are, we’ve had lots pass away in the last two months (not covid related). Anyway, sure that’s going on everywhere with surgeries, colonoscopy and routine radiology all delayed. Lots of delayed cancer diagnosis

I’m a retail rph in a grocery store setting and I’m working 30-40 hr per week, longer shifts though so generally 3 days. How safe does everyone feel going to work and what precautions is everyone taking?

@Marfi: oh wow! That was discussed but here (Canada, small town) we haven’t had many cases. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I'm on maternity leave now, but was WOH 40 hours a week before having the baby. I work for a subcontractor in new home construction. In my state, construction was deemed essential. DH also works in construction/ trucking, so he's been at work the whole time too.

I feel like 'essential' is a stretch in my job, but I'm glad to be working. I am marketing/graphic design/photographer for a heavy equipment sales company. Construction is deemed essential so since we support the construction industry we are essential. And super busy lately too. Normal 8-5 M-Fr schedule but some of our shop guys are on overtime. We have around 20 employees and all have our own spaces, I try to disinfect door handles, etc. daily. We also only have 3 cases in our county now, so not super worried.
Dh works road maintenance, usually sees one other guy daily, and they have changed their schedules 15 min. either way so they don't see each other. Same M-Fr, 7:15-3:45 now (was 7-3:30).

I work in juvenile corrections, overseeing clinical services (therapy, groups, psychiatry, etc.) for youth in our facilities. I'm doing my regular M-F schedule onsite. Fortunately, DH is working from home right now and can watch LO.

My husband is a sales executive for a professional cleaning franchise. He's still out on site at businesses measuring square footage and putting together quotes for professional cleaning.
They also offer services for sanitizing after positive cases have been found, and the price is like 10x what they normally charge. He's crazy busy right now as every business wants a professional cleaning as they prepare to re-open. Not sure how long this boom will last, but for now everyone wants to be able to tell their customers they have regular professional cleaning.
