My parents are really into their new iPads! My Dad uses his iPad like a camera in public all the time!

wow your grandpa rocks! My parents are both pretty savvy; uses iphone/ipads, etc. I only have one grandma living, and she def is not. I've facetime w/ her tho but it was my aunt's ipad.

My dad is very tech savvy, as in he goes beyond just being a user and knows how computers work. He worked as a network technician when I was a kid and he's the one who taught me basic programming when I was 11!
My mom, step dad, grandpa, grandma and FIL can use computers, but don't really know how they work or how to fix them.
My MIL can barely even use a computer.

My parents are sort of tech savvy. My mom has a Kindle and a Mac computer which work well for her. They still have some performance issues with their network. It's usually fixed by DH who has help desk experience.
My ILs are super tech savvy as FIL does computer tech for their city government. MIL used to do similar work as well. Most days MIL tweets articles from Fox News and other news outlets about how awful Obama is or that tanning beds are worse cancer wise than being a lifelong smoker. Not making this stuff up!

My parents are only in their 40s, so they're pretty tech savy. My grandparents just recently started getting more techie; they all have iPads, smartphones, text like crazy, etc. Big step up for one of my grandmothers who was absolutely afraid to touch a computer when I was young, to the point that if I left it on and left her house she would call me to come and shut it off if my grandfather wasn't home, lol. Now she knows how to "google" and check emails, texts me often. It's amazing lol.

My parents are decent considering they're in their mid 60's. My grandmother recently acquired an ipad and is now the proud owner of a FB account. Seeing her comment & "like" comments/pics, cracks me up. She's nearing 90.

My dad is obsessed with his laptop.
My mom is obsessed with her ipad and iphone.MIL avoids it at all costs, but knows how to use her tablet and computer.
FIL is on his desktop all the time for online bill pay, card games, etc.

My dad is tech savvy, but my mom and in-laws are definitely not.
My mom has an iPhone, but barely knows how to use it. My FIL doesn't even have a cellphone. MIL has a cellphone, but she just recently learned how to text.

all i want to say about this subject is how much it drives me BANANAS that my inlaws don't know where the camera is on the iphone/ipad when facetiming. when they hold something up for us to see it literally is not even on the screen! ahhh it feels so good to vent! haha!

My mom is pretty tech savy, I usually set up thigns for her (ipad, computer) and she figures them out from there. DH's parents are not savy at all. My one grandma and her significant other both use the ipad like a video camera/camera and are on FB, so pretty advanced for 80! my other grandparents don't own cell phones beause they were confusing when they had them.

My parents are. My dad is in I.T. so, he has to be! LOL
My grandparents, I really have no idea. My uncle lives with them (he is legally blind, so he's always lived there) and he sends out all the family emails and what not, so I don't think my grandparents really do anything on the computer. (and they live in another state, so I don't see them very often, sadly).

My grandmom is 88 and she likes to use her ipad for Facebook and Candy Crush. I think I get Candy Crush requests from her daily...

My dad is. He's way tech savvy than I am (sadly). my mom knows how to email and surf the internet.
FIL knows how to search for Cambodian videos on a Favorited site, but that's it.
