I emailed my Mom today and told her what the midwife said. I told her not to pack her bag yet. She said, "My bag has been packed for a week!!" Ha ha ha. I love that woman. She is so excited.
When you were waiting for the arrival of your lo, were your parents / in laws super excited, as well? How could you tell?

My mom called today and asked me to take a video of LO eating dinner so she could watch her eat..
So I took a 5 minute video and posted it up for her. HAHA. There's a reason I have almost 800 videos of my LO!

My folks are really excited. The baby will be their first grandchild so they are over the moon.
FIL already has 18 grandkids so he's happy but not overly excited.
This will be MIL's first and she has expressed absolutely nothing about it. Hasn't even acknowledged my pregnancy. I can only imagine how horrible she'll be when the baby gets here. Ugh.

Every time we called my mom or MIL they'd answer the phone with, "is it time? Should we go to the hospital?"
My mom insisted that Chinese would induce labor because it worked for her 3 kids and literally every Jewish woman we know. So she took me for Chinese.... and then slept in her clothes that night. Well, laid in bed in her clothes, she couldn't sleep because she was so excited and waiting for that phone call.... which never came.

My parents and MIL are thrilled. It is the first grandbaby for all of them. They are all being overly generous with their wallets (they need to slow it down) and in attention (which is fine)!

My MIL (who lives on the opposite coast) talks about our baby in her sleep. I'm only 12 weeks pregnant. I think she's a little more than excited. 
My parents are excited, but this'll be grandbaby 2, and my nephew lives in their town. Still, they'll be here in a few hours to help us move into a place where we can actually have a nursery. And I'm seeing them in July. And my mom (if not both parents) plan on coming for the birth (mom is allowed in the room, and it'd be the first birth she'd ever witness - my brother and I were c-sections.)

My parents are divorced, and both sets text me every Monday to inform me that our baby is now a week older and they give me a countdown to 40 weeks (though my mom thinks I'm going to go early). I'd say they are pretty excited...

LO is the first grandchild on both sides...I don't think "excited" is a strong enough word!!
Today my mom called and said she wishes she knew when I'd go into labor because she is getting very, very anxious!

@yoursilverlining: Haha. My mom freaks out every time I call her now. I told her we would call from Hops' cell phone when I'm in labor, so she knows this is it.

They still have 20 weeks, but both mom's have been dropping off "a little something" about once a week for the baby! Now that htey know it's a girl, there is usually an outfit they just can't pass up or a blanket, ect. that screams "me" haha. I love it, they are so excited to have another girl to spoil!

I told my mom *I* wish I knew when I’d go into labor too, as it would sure be nice to know!
