@Cherrybee: Yes, I didn't want to go around being a naysayer all day that day, so I avoided the thread. You can feel better about that one!
Also, I got a boppy and hated it. I found a regular bed pillow much more useful (no hole!) Plus I've had a few instances of seeing suffocations due to boppies. That was enough to make me get rid of mine!

I found the video monitor indispensable once we started sleep training. I don't know if we could have done CIO without being able to see that she was OK on the monitor.
