What's up this month: We'll be out of town and staying with friends this weekend when we should be BD-ing, so trying to get it in tonight and as soon as we get back!
For Fun: Headed to see the in-laws the second week of August, and possibly taking a staycation to burn some vacation days and get projects done around the house.

What's up this month: I typically have long and unpredictable cycles, so I'll be on the OPK train again this month starting somewhere around CD12-14. (I take back my earlier statement -- I'll actually be peeing on a lot of sticks 
) Crossing my fingers O doesn't show up at a time that'll be difficult for BD, it's so frustrating to know it might be two more months before our next chance.
For Fun: Any good plans for the last month of summer? We'll be busy about every other weekend from here on out, including a visit from family, long weekend in FL, out of town wedding, and then it'll be Labor Day already! Where did summer go??

@nanilani: Good luck, lady. I also have long and irregular cycles and TTC without OPKs would be a shot in the dark. I guess POAS date based on average cycle length.

Cycle Day: Who the hell knows? Period was due the 17th, started spotting that day and have continued to only spot since then. Not sure whats going on.

For Fun: Any good plans for the last month of summer? Its winter here! Looking forward to warmer temperatures but also loving the clear cool winter days. No real plans for the next little while - house repairs, work, the usual!

@Raspberry: Yes, OPKs are a godsend! Back when I was somewhat less informed on the ins and outs of TTC I got pregnant while NTNP -- I have NO idea how I was able to manage it! It feels like dumb luck, knowing what I know now.
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope August 25 brings you peace and maybe even good news

Cycle Day: 6?? I think? (I just got my period back at 9.5 months pp so my cycle is all kinds of wonky)
TTC Cycle: 1
Ovulation Date: hopefully soon, I've been doing OPKs for 3 days now and they're getting darker but not positive yet. I'm predicting 7/24 or 7/25, but my app says 7/27.
POAS Date: 8/10! So far away... But I'm going to try not to test early. The cycle I got pregnant with M, I got a BFN two days before my period was due!

What's up this month: work is crazy and I don't even know if I'll ovulate this month, since it's my first cycle.
For Fun: Any good plans for the last month of summer? - My parents just bought a trailer and we're planning an inaugural trip with it for labor day. I'd love to be able to announce a pregnancy to my parents then! I'm also going on a road trip with just my mom and M around the middle of the month. Taking M to the beach for the first time!

What's up this month: my POAS date would be on my mom's birthday. She died unexpectedly many years ago but I was really close to her and still talk to her all the time and get little signs from her (sounds crazy but it happens) so I'm hopeful that maybe this TTC month will be good
For Fun- no trips planned this month - will just be working and hanging out with my sweet pup and DH. I live in Europe so there are still interesting things to do and see very close to us.

I wish we had BD the day when my opk was *almost* positive because we only got O-1 and O. Oh well, DS was conceived when we BD on O day.
At least the fertile window is over before we go on a week long vacation with my family!
I'm definitely feeling more relaxed going into cycle 4. I really need balance in my life and to enjoy my last weeks of summer (teacher here.)

@MrsJBeeG: I think your POAS date being your mom's birthday is a GREAT sign!
@Coral: When I got my BFP with DS, I ovulated on Friday before leaving for a week long vacation on Saturday. I totally think being relaxed on vacation helped me conceive!
AFM: waiting on a positive OPK and BDing EOD in the meantime. Hoping for a positive tomorrow and O date on Tuesday. I've been having sharp pain on my left side all day today. Fingers crossed it's an amazing egg

What's up this month: Currently on day 8/10 of progesterone to induce a period (started spotting this morning and going into a light AF now) and my doc doubled my dose of Femara. I've been off the boards trying to distract myself, but a relative just had their gender reveal this weekend and we were the same due date, so that really stung to see all over Facebook and Instagram. 
For Fun: Any good plans for the last month of summer? Gearing up to paint our home! It'll be a long and slow project because of budgeting, but we wanna spruce up our place. It's very cookie cutter colors (beige, off white trim) and we're over it. Luckily, it's still nice to look at so we're not in a huge hurry to get all 3000+ sq ft done in one summer!

I got a positive opk last night which is fantastic because I assumed I'd missed it while we were away this weekend. Only going to get to BD last night, tonight and maybe once more? We also BD 4 days before the opk which is a long time but the cycle we conceived DS we only got positive opk minus 5 days in and that somehow magically worked!

@HeartAbandoned: OMG, that's a hard one! The control line looks pretty light also. So, I think it's positive? If it were mine, I'd treat it as if it were positive but definitely follow up with a second test later.

@nanilani: Right? The light control is what has me uncertain. I'll definitely test again, and it doesn't change our BD plans...I just am so uncertain as to whether or not I will ovulate on my own that I like as many clues as possible!!

I've been taking OPKs since last Wednesday bc we're so unsure about my cycle length. I can't tell if these are getting darker or if it's just wishful thinking . My app says I won't ovulate until Wednesday or Thursday. Does this look right for a few days pre O?? I'm going to start doing them twice a day now that I should be closer.

@Bernieboo: I think it varies by person. In my case (I've only used OPKs for one cycle so far) I saw them start to darken one day and then lighten again, staying fairly consistent until I got a strong positive a few days later.
(Then again, my pattern might have been affected by PCOS -- I was diagnosed five years ago but have no symptoms beyond irregular cycles and ovulate on my own so I don't know how much I can blame on it.)

@HeartAbandoned: yea that looks SO close! Perhaps test one more time later tonight?
AFM - I got another positive on a digital opk just now, so I'm thinking O day would be today since it was also positive last night? I know you're supposed to stop testing but I like to see how long the surge is!

Ugh i took another OPK test this afternoon and it was lighter than the last. But my urine was super diluted. We live in Phoenix and in order to stay hydrated, I drink a ton of water. I think trying to do pm tests is just not going to work for me. My OB said FMU, but i was hoping to do twice a day testing. Oh well, we'll just BD every other day until I'm getting no line and hopefully that covers it lol
