My son just turned 8 months last weekend and is still not babbling. He will do the occasional baba but that's about it. Otherwise just little shrieks or vowel sounds. I'm trying to tell myself all babies develop differently but I'm starting to get a little worried. Anyone else have a late babbler?

FYI, he has hit most other milestones okay - isn't crawling yet, but seems pretty advanced with his fine motor skills (e.g., can feed himself with a spoon, without making a mess, if you put the food on for him).
