Don't worry! We didn't decide on a name for our LO until a week before she was born!!
I like all of the names you listed! If you both love WIlla, name your LO willa! It's cute!!

I agree, if you and DH both love the name then don't worry about other people. And would changing the middle name help if people think the first name is unusual? I think Willa Capri has a nice ring to it! I have always liked the name Caprice.

I really like the name you've chosen! I think it's beautiful and unique. I LOVE Capri! I really think you should stick with the name that you both like. No matter what name you choose, there's always going to be someone that will disagree and question it. My son has a pretty common first name (top 30ish). We still had people make rude comments.

On a side note, if you do decide on going to something more classic, I would make it the first name and keep Capri. Vivienne Capri would also be beautiful!!

I think you should name your kid whatever you want and not worry about what other people say. That being said, "Kathleen" has kind of the same sound as "Capri" if you're looking for something similar but more traditional.

I love the name Willa, and for those people who don't know it, Willa Cather is a popular writer from the early 1900s, this is a classic name not a new trendy name, it's just making a circle around again!

I think stick with what you love, everyone will go along with it with time!

I like the name Willa. I knew someone named Willa and it doesn't sound out there at all. I like the way Willa Capri sounds together. And it's YOUR kid's name, you should choose something you like!

Another vote for Willa Capri! I think it's a lovely name, but it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks - choose the name you guys love.

Plus, nobody ever uses their middle name anyway, so it's not like many people will even know it.

I say go with what u have decided and who cares what others say? Also, unless u decide to call her by her full name, people don't usually know middle names anyway...

I also love the name Willa, and as for not picking out names ahead of time, my aunt and uncle couldn't decide on a name for my cousin until they were driving to the hospital (and then they saw the name on a license plate and loved it!)

I don't think it matters what the middle name is as far as the general public is concerned. When are you ever referred to by your full name, bar weddings and graduations? Go with what you like!

Capri immediately makes me think of several Italian restaurants on its own (inevitable), but I think it sounds lovely with Willa.
The name overall sounds just enough different to be unique without sounding like you're trying too hard, in my opinion! I'd stick with it if it's the name you love and you and your husband agree upon.

Choose a name you love! Willa is great--it makes me think of Willa Cather, like other PPs have said. Capri give me a much different vibe than Willa--it's very Italian vs. Americana in my mind--but that's great. Very unique, but not weird.

I grew up to all of my family calling me my first and middle name, they said it just flowed off the tounge, so sometimes middle names are used in every day context. :).

Not sure if this helps or not, but my friend had similar troubles with naming her little girl. When she went into L&D they had 5 first middle name combos picked out. After she delivered they got to know their little one for the first 24 hours before naming her. In the end they used a first and middle name combo that wasn't on the list (but both names were on the list somehow). Maybe meeting your LO will help you decide.

Also, having a "different" name for a girl generally transfers into her being told "your name is beautiful" (not, hey, weird name!--even if they don't necessarily think it's beautiful it's the first think people think to say for uncommon girls' names), which in turn leads to her feeling beautiful. I like it.

I know lots of people that have given their kids "weird" names. I've made a face when when I saw the birth announcement e-mail. But eventually I got to know the baby and got used to the name and now the name isn't weird anymore. Also, for what it's worth, Willa is not that weird. I mean, Beyonce called her kid Blue....
