What websites do you use for baby names. What features do they have that are unique and/or why do you like them?
I found one of the blog posts I was looking for but would love more input: http://www.hellobee.com/2014/02/28/whats-in-a-name-4/

My favorite sites are Baby Name Wizard (the voyager tool is helpful for getting a feel for past and future popularity, and her book is my favorite for brainstorming by style groups), Nameberry and the SSA site.
I read several name blogs too that I like for name profiles and consultations. My favorites are Appellation Mountain (awesome profiles of quirkier names), Swistle (consultations that often help match sibling sets or clarify/brainstorm within a set of style preferences), Waltzing More Than Matilda (Australian) and Sancta Nomina (a focus on Catholic names).

Nameberry
Swistle - I wrote in and she wrote back when we were naming our first!
And I just got an app called nametrix that I liked.

@Mrs. Champagne: Ahh so jealous, she never replied to me! The chick at appellationmountain.net will give you Swistle-style naming advice for a fee, but I think my DH would kill me!

Baby Name Wizard for all the cool visual data.
Nymbler for finding names similar to those that we liked. They actually had some that we hadn't considered.
Nameberry was my favorite for quickly looking up meanings and rankings though.

Swistle is hands-down my favorite advice-format baby name blog.
@Mrs. Champagne: You are so lucky! Did her advice help?
@ms.line: Bummer she didn't answer you! I want to write in, but we have our names pretty much nailed down.

@TemperanceBrennan: yes! Her and her commenters reassured me that my boy name was good.. I should write her again! For this baby we need name help!

Love swistle and Abby at appellation mountain too. Swistle answered my letter too, but the pregnancy ended early.
Duana on the Laineygossip site also does swistle like posts. You can find it under the lifestyles section. I can't think of a nice way to say it, but it's a little more crass in the way you wouldn't be surprised to see a few f bombs. I have started to prefer her as swistle seems to have slowed down!

@T.H.O.U.: It's so funny you posted that. I was just looking at it while I was answering a different post about names. I think it is so helpful to get the "true" popularity of a name.
