I don't remember where I read it, but I do remember someone somewhere posting a link to see the amount of baby names in your state.
My curiosity is because what might be #1-10 on babycenter, might not be as top in your state? I read a story where a couple named their baby Mason because in their area it was uncommon, then moved to an area where he was one of several.

I never thought to look per state before. The boy name we like is in the top TEN! Scratch that one off the list... I was shocked to see some of the names that were on the NC list. This is fun.

Huh, funny - my husband's name (Alexander) is #1 for boys in our state. Never would have guessed that.

Fun! My girl's name isn't on there, but since it was 243 on baby center I had a feeling it wouldn't be on there either.

@chopsuey119: LOL weird huh? that's why I thought it was a neat thing. although in RI, the chances are pretty good that if it says youll know someone, you will. However in say, Cali or Texas, there's a much bigger area to spread out to!
