Oh my goodness!! What a horrible experience. I've always declined travel insurance, but will rethink that in the future for sure.

My babymoon was about 5 minutes from my hospital! I was 9 months pregnant so we didn't want to go too far, and luckily our hospital is right near the beach.

This is one of the reasons I would not feel comfortable leaving the country while pregnant. Not worth the risk to me. Our baby moon will be to Destin, FL.... Which is driving distance from us.

Wow, that's scary. Never bough trip insurance before but if I do go on a babymoon, I'll remember to get it.
