Has anyone tried this? I just saw it recommended for warmer weather. Did it help? What cooling towel did you use?

I use them in the summer. It doesn't make a huge difference as the towels need to be exposed to air to keep cool.. so while pressed between you and baby, there isn't much air flow. Regardless of that, I still use them. I cut them in half ( well thirds, they're huge ) and put one piece between myself and the baby and then another between the baby and the carrier.
I can't think of the brand name right now, it's a pretty common one though. I found them at our dollarstore for $3!

I used to use a boo boo pack with a muslin blanket over it.
Not the same, but it worked.

I think I have the same one @MrsB2012: mentioned, I only used it when I was in labour. I think it's called Frogg Togg or something? They're actually not recommended, at least not for younger babies, since they can't regulate their body temperatures.

@QBbride: I wondered about the temperature regulation but multiple people recommended it! Could be their kids are toddlers though.

@Finfan: yeah I can't imagine it would be a issue with older kids, but yeah I can see why they're not recommended for small babies!
