I have gone through the wringer. T has had a fever when unmediated from 102-103 for over a week and is only taking liquids barely. She was diagnosed with HFM. DH was only home over the weekend. Sunday evening I started feeling bad, and have had a nasty cough starting Monday. Yesterday at 6 am I called the nurse advice line because Ts cough was scaring me- she thought we had whooping cough and to go to the ER. So we both are checked in by 7. There for 2 1/2 hours, no tests or treatment. They say it is a symptom of HFM. DD naps for 3 hours and her cough is terrifying me. So I take her into the ped for a second option. She has croup. I have bronchitis. I spent 3 hours in the car yesterday some during rush hour, and 3 1/2 hours in the ER or Drs office. I'm barely functioning. I have had 4-6 maybe of interrupted sleep for over a week. My MIL came over last night, brought me dinner and took care of T for 2 1/2 hours so I could rest.

DH went to the airport 5 hours early and is boarding a flight on standby shortly and will be home 6 hours early. Yesterday was my parenting low.

Tell me this does not happen all the time. I have a snoring 16 month old sleeping on me. Needing a little encouragement.
