I feel like this must have been asked before, but a very brief scan didn’t yield anything.
Looking for a good basic coffee maker. I already have a newish Nespresso for single cups. So I don’t want another single cup or combo machine. Just a basic brewed pot of coffee.
I don’t feel super strongly about the glass vs insulated carafe, but probably prefer insulated?
Ideally around $100 but have some wiggle room if you can sing it’s praises.

We love(d) our Bunn! So much so that, even though we currently solely use our Ninja Coffee Bar, my husband keeps the Bunn hoarded away in the basement “just in case”

@EBSC: I second your response! I have that same coffee pot in red - have had it for years now - at least 4 but probably more - and it gets used everyday and it works just like it’s brand new.

We have a pretty basic Cuisinart coffee maker and it's been used daily (or more!) for at least 6 years now without fail. It has an option for programmable brewing so we can put the water and coffee grounds in at night and it will automatically turn on and brew in the AM. The only annoying part is that it beeps when it's done brewing which I don't always want to hear so early lol. I don't know if all models do this and it probably wouldn't bother most people but I thought I'd mention it since I didn't expect it when we purchased ours.
It's similar to this, but not quite. We actually got it for our wedding 11 years ago, and put it in storage for 5 years until we had a kitchen that would fit a coffee maker (we used a french press for years). It's similar to this one which has 4.5 stars and 1500 reviews

We have this one and we LOVE it. I hate grinding coffee, and its always better when its fresh ground. So its a little more than basic, and slightly out of your price range, but I would buy this over and over and over again.
It was a Christmas present (2 weeks after DD was born) and having fresh ground coffee every morning was a godsend during he newborn and back to work phase!

@jennlin821: You know, we had this one (older version) as a wedding gift too! But we ended up getting rid of it because we are in an apt and having a single serve and a regular coffee maker just didn’t make sense and my husband chose the single serve.
We are moving to a house end of June and I’m SO excited to have a real coffee maker again. I like our Nespresso but nothing compares to a traditional brewed pot of coffee. It reminds me of home I think (my parents).

@SweetiePie: we had a keurig before this, but put in storage after we got this. Fresh ground fresh brewed coffee ready for me in the morning was way better than crappy kcups!!

We love love love our bonavita. It literally has one switch (“on/off”) and an insulated carafe. That’s it. BUT it gets the water super hot, aka the perfect temp for perfect coffee. Never had a better cup in my life and that’s saying s lot.
