Edited because my original question makes no sense 
So I originally thought I wanted to get a Beco Soleil, but I didn't realize that Tula also made carriers that could be used with an infant insert. Has anyone tried them both? Do you have a preference?

@LovelyPlum: you can use Ergos and bobas with infants too! I've tried those but not a Tula or beco. People rave about Tulsa though!

I have a boba and really like it, we have only used the infant carry though. I have heard great things about the Tula but haven't tried it!

I love my BBII but am considering a Tula purchase for the future.
IMO, it really depends on body type and how each SSC fits you. I would recommend trying them both and then going from there.

I didn't really consider how differently they could fit. I'm short and big chested-guess I need to try them on. I've been scoping out the Tula website, and it does look comfy. I'll have to see if there's one around here I can try out

@LovelyPlum: I really like the size. My LO is almost 20 months and she still fits in the standard size quite comfortably. It's just as comfortable/easy as the others, though I used a completely different carrier throughout the newborn stage.

@LovelyPlum: All of the above! The belt is padded and contoured in such a way that it doesn't dig like other structured carriers did. I am 5'6, but have a short torso and a large chest, and I couldn't ever get the Ergo or Beco to fit correctly. I also like how easy it is to adjust - my husband and I switch back and forth a lot, I can nurse in it, and I can switch to a back carry easily. DS is a happy little guy in there Not the greatest pic, but here he is.

I my Tula! I have scoliosis and it was a really hard for me to find a carrier that didn't kill my back. I can wear my 20 lb. LO for hours in the Tula with no problem.

@rahlyrah: that's awesome! DH has a bad back, too, so that is good to hear that it doesn't hurt!
