Things I'm looking forward to:
- Having an adult beverage
- Being able to go more than 30 min between potty breaks
- Not feeling like I'm starving all the time
- Work out at a much higher intensity
What are you looking forward to?

Ibuprofen! That's when you know you're getting old. When you miss Advil more than wine.
Also running for exercise and stress relief.

Getting in shape for summer
Having day dates with friends that have little ones!

A shake from Chick fil a! I made the mistake of telling DH that I technically wasn't supposed to have soft serve ice cream while pregnant and he won't let me get one.
Also, a margarita!!

I looked forward to eating freely again (I had GD and was diet controlled for 20 weeks). Too bad LO has MSPI and other possible sensitives. I'm back on a diet again.

@raintreebee: LOL - yes!! I do miss being able to take ibuprofen.

I'm not pregnant anymore, but it was glorious when I finally stopped throwing up every day (I was one of those unlucky people who had extreme morning sickness their whole pregnancy.)
I was also looking forward to not going to work for 6 weeks, haha!

I would love to have some energy! I got mono last spring and then got pregnant in the summer. I miss spin class the most. I always feel so great after a good workout. I just don't have the energy for anything more than walking right now.

@BabyBoecksMom: If you plan on nursing, sorry to tell you, but that never ending starving feeling doesn't go away.... lol
For me, I looked forward to eating things from the no-no list guilt free. I ate them in moderation while pregnant, but always felt a bit guilty.

Being able to walk! My pelvis and spine really feel like they aren't going to support me much longer. I folded laundry earlier and put it away and had to take 2 breaks and it took over an hour.
Generally just not being so big. I'm too pregnant to function.

@Alivoo01: Oh, you're right..... I remember that from last time. Oh well, I'll just look at it as one last time to eat what I want w/ minimal regrets - haha

And sleeping in general.

@BabyBoecksMom: For me, nursing has enabled me to pig out and still keep my weight in check so the guilt-free card might still be in play for you also!

Having more energy! Sex (my sex drive has been absolutely GONE since very early in my pregnancy, blerrgh). Not being in so much pain--pregnancy has really done a number on my back and I've had false labor contractions for over a week now so I'm REALLY looking forward to those being over. Not having to get up to pee 6+ times every night (I used to sleep through the night and never have to use the bathroom, so this has been an unhappy adjustment!). And definitely wine! Mostly, I'm looking forward to not being pregnant anymore...I'm almost 37 weeks and I'm pretty over it

I love this thread! I am only 17 weeks and I have been working on this list for a while...here goes, in no particular order:
Boozy drinks - bourbon in particular
Sushi
Sleeping on my back
Using my Rx skin creams (I guess this may have to wait until I'm done breast feeding) - sadly pregnancy has made a mess of my skin, so much for the "glow"
Fancy cheeses and charcuterie
Vigorous exercise

I was so excited to wear normal pants again that didn't fall down all the time. I HATED maternity pants so much, but I worked in manufacturing and had to wear pants to work.
