Does anyone have any acne products that have worked well for them during pregnancy? My acne has been out of control these last few weeks and I'd love to find some products that work well that don't have salicylic acid. Thanks!!

My OB okay'd the use of benzyol peroxide, but I felt a little uncomfortable with it, so I used it very sparingly . I used Belli products, which are pregnancy safe. I also got a prescription for clindamycin from my dermatologist. But honestly, my breakouts during pregnancy were hormone related (they started to clear up almost immediately as soon as LO was born!) so I don't think any topical treatment would have helped very much unfortunately.

I used witch hazel or apple cider vinegar cut with water. I felt like both worked well.

I used proactiv, it's benzoyl peroxide. My ob okayed it and said she used it herself through all her pregnancies. My hormonal acne laughed in the face of tea tree oil so your solution probably depends on the severity of your case.

Uhhh I used Nutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash w/ both pregnancies... My doctor said any OTC acne treatment was ok when pregnant

@BabyBoecksMom: I think mine (Yes to Tomatoes) is probably fine too, and I have been using it so far. But I figure if it's easy enough to make a change then maybe I will. Thanks for your help!

@BabyBoecksMom: My OB also said OTC was fine (he asked me if I planned to ingest it . . . I say uh, nooo . . . and he laughed and said well then it's fine!)
@Kbee: I also used a Zeno for some spots . . . it's just a timed application of heat (2.5 minutes), no chemicals at all!
