Any recommendations? I think we are going to look at the Denali and sequoia. Open to suggestions! I think fitting five comfortably would be nice, so need a third row. I would prefer some trunk space.

Friends of mine love their Honda Pilot with 3 car seats. A co-worker of DH's just bought a fully loaded Sequoia - DH is obsessed. It fits 3 car seats comfortably and there's a ton of extra room.

@HLK208: what kind of cargo space is there when all three rows are in use?

I have a friend who has a 4-runner and she really likes it but with the 3rd row up there isn't much 'trunk' space. We have an older model Tahoe and the 3rd row offers decent space in the seats but again, not a lot in the trunk area. Good luck!

Are you anti-minivan? We looked at all the SUVs and ultimately ended up liking the minivans better.

@locavore_mama: I know the Pilot has a lot of room in the back even with the third row up. I have a Toyota Highlander with the third row and that's the one downside, there isn't enough room for a regular sized stroller or 3+ bags of groceries.

@tequiero21: what about a ford flex? it has the space of a minivan but looks a lot cooler!
