We had our first ultrasound today, and it was so nerve racking going in because we have been trying for two years. One of the two years was spent with our RE and this was our second IVF-FET. After wonderful beta numbers, first one being 1,640 and the second being 8,806 we saw two wonderful heartbeats today! Both baby A and B have strong heart beats and measure 6 weeks 3 days and the other is 6 weeks and 1 day. We realize that the first ten weeks are critical for development and we know all the risks but today we are only focusing on the positive things and the happy response from our doctor. Just thought I would share our news and although I realize it is still early for our pregnancy--it proves that it can happen after failed attempts at IVF and I would like to provide inspiration to anyone struggling with infertility. We know how difficult it is.
