A friend of mine and her husband just had her 6th. I don't think they have any intention of slowing down.
If money were no object I would easily have 5+ kids.....but that is in no way practical for me. I Michelle Duggar.

One of my former coworkers has 4 - all girls! Another coworker has 3 and he and his wife aren't sure if they're done. (Twins and a singleton 19 months apart!) one friend just had triplets, and another friend is pregnant with #3.

growing up, there was a girl in my year in school who was the youngest of 9.
not many people I know now are parents yet, or if they are they only have 1 or 2, but both my bro/sil and one of our closest couple friends want 4! that seems huge to me and I totally put my foot in my mouth with my friend talking about it--after my bro/sil had their second I was talking to her and said "they want 4, isn't that crazy big??" and she was like "ummm we want 4 too." ooops! the funny thing maybe is that both she and my sil are only children, maybe that's why they want so many? my friend's husband though is has 3 step-siblings, so maybe he just likes being one of four!

ETA: re: math on previous post.
Apparently I can't add 8+5. Which is 13, not 14. So 9 biological & 5 adopted.
