Whiiiiiinnnning. And screeching!
It seemed better today, so I think the cold just had her fussier than usual. Please let that be it!

Exhaustion. I just feel so spent these days. My son is amazing but between him, trying to keep a house together and working this part time nanny gig with two under two I am beat! And I jut can't catch up. Not unless I neglect my husband completely and that won't work either. We have a date night coming up and I feel bad but sometimes I wish I could just rest instead!

Sleep (she's just starting to get some long stretches in at night after clusterfeeding for most of the first 4 weeks) and figuring out breastfeeding (cracked, sore flat nipples and getting over mastitis)

Tantrums because I can't understand what she wants. Her receptive language is high, but she has few words. Trying to teach her more signs is next on my list of things to do.

J will be 3 in September and he will not listen. Terrible twos are in full force and I don't know what to do.

@Mrs. Pen: that is exactly why we switched from a gym class to music class...it just wasn't fun spending the whole time chasing LO and telling him "no" and trying to get him to do things he didn't want to do! music is less structured which works better for us.
For us, it's early morning wakeups...he's been up at or before 6am for the last week and a half. Ugh.

@hilsy85: With you.....why why why. R didn't even go to bed till 8 last night, stupid car nap, and she was up at 530

E and I are going through a rough patch. Yesterday morning, she had a melt down that lasted an hour and a half. Just screaming "no", crying, hitting...but she can't communicate when she's upset or why so I have NO clue what to do. If I hold her, she gets more upset, if I ignore it, she stays upset for longer. It feels like she is unhappy the majority of the time lately and it kills me! I just want her to be happy.

Sleep! But my baby is only 6.5 weeks old so I think that's to be expected!

@googly-eyes: holy crap. O just started screeching too. she does it when she's super, super excited so it's more funny than annoying (so far!!) but man. it makes me dread the teeny-bopper concerts in another 12 years...
@HLK208: how old is she again? I remember my nanny LO doing that..man, it was so hard. I think we opted to walk away (within sight) and let her get her anger/frustration out until she stopped screaming. unless she was hurting herself, then she went in her crib

DS- whining and tantrums, getting bored easily and acting out, pacifier weaning and potty training.
DD- spitting up, fussiness, sleep could always be better but she's only 11 weeks.

@HLK208: OMG this is my life. B gets sooo frustrated with me sometimes and I feel like I have to talk him off a cliff. He gets frustrated by something little and then it gets blown out of proportion. I'm trying @sandy's approach and it appears to be helping.

@sorrycharlie: she's almost 23 months so 2 is right around the corner.
@littlek: it really is SO hard I'm just trying to remind myself that it's just a phase
